Chapter 14: “The Plan”

Olivia and Gavin walked out of the warehouse, their minds racing with the task ahead of them. They had to break into the corporation's headquarters and steal a file that contained evidence of the corporation's wrongdoing.

As they walked, Gavin pulled out the folder that Jake had given him and began to study the map of the headquarters.

"Okay, so it looks like the file we need is stored in a secure room on the top floor," Gavin said, his eyes scanning the map. "We'll need to find a way to get past security and make it to the room without getting caught."

Olivia nodded, her mind already racing with possibilities. "I think I can help with that," she said. "I've been studying the corporation's security protocols, and I think I can find a way to disable them."

Gavin looked at her, impressed. "That's great," he said. "But we'll still need to be careful. The corporation has a lot of security measures in place, and we don't know what kind of traps they might have set."

Olivia nodded, her heart racing with anticipation. She knew that this was a risk, but she also knew that it was necessary. They had to take down the corporation, no matter what it took.

As they continued to study the map and plan their approach, Olivia couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. She glanced around, but saw nothing out of the ordinary.

Still, the feeling persisted. And Olivia couldn't help but wonder if they were walking into a trap.

"I don't like this," Olivia said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Something feels off."

Gavin looked at her, his expression serious. "I know what you mean," he said. "But we can't back down now. We have to see this through."

Olivia nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew that Gavin was right. They had to take a stand against the corporation, no matter the risk.

As they continued to plan their approach, Olivia's mind began to wander. She thought about all the things that could go wrong, all the ways they could get caught.

But she also thought about the potential reward. If they could get their hands on that file, they could bring down the corporation and expose their wrongdoing to the world.

It was a risk worth taking, Olivia decided. She was ready to do whatever it took to take down the corporation.

"Okay, let's do this," Olivia said, her voice firm. "We'll break into the headquarters, get the file, and bring down the corporation."

Gavin nodded, a smile spreading across his face. "That's the spirit," he said. "Let's do this."

Together, they began to finalize their plan, pouring over the map and discussing every possible scenario.

As they worked, Olivia felt a sense of determination growing inside her. She was ready to take on the corporation, no matter what it took.

And she knew that with Gavin by her side, they could accomplish anything.

But as they were finalizing their plan, Olivia's phone suddenly rang, shrill in the silence.

Olivia's heart skipped a beat as she hesitated, wondering who it could be.

"Answer it," Gavin whispered, his eyes locked onto hers.

Olivia nodded, her hand trembling as she picked up the phone.

"Hello?" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment, Olivia wondered if anyone was there.

But then, a voice spoke up, low and menacing.

"You're making a big mistake," the voice said. "You'll never get away with this."

Olivia's heart racing, she tried to speak, but her voice caught in her throat.

"Who is this?" Gavin demanded, his voice firm.

But the line had already gone dead.

Olivia's eyes locked onto Gavin's, her heart pounding in her chest.

"What does it mean?" Olivia whispered.

Gavin's expression was grim. "It means we're not the only ones who know about the file," he said. "And it means we're running out of time."

Olivia nodded, her mind racing. They had to act fast, before it was too late.

But as they turned to leave, Olivia couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched, that unblinking eyes were trained on them from the shadows.

And she knew that they were in grave danger.
