Raiko, already inside the bus, pays her fare and goes to the best area of the vehicle: at the back, near the rear door. As he walks, he notices that, as almost always, the bus is quite empty. He sits down, and just two rows in front of him is a boy and a girl. The latter is wearing a hoodie. Raiko pays no attention to them and starts listening to music.
"What bad luck... We didn't have a good haul," the girl says.
"It was... 30 Glints, wasn't it?" asks the boy.
"Yes... Although continuing to steal such low amounts of money doesn't pay off.... But well, what matters is that we didn't get caught" answers the girl confidently.
"And it's just that Sami, the hit you took on him don't make sense. In fact, from what I see, your hair... it's still shining, the same thing happened to you as it did to him.... Yellow suits you, your eyes showed it a long time ago, but you'd better not take off your hood, he said it was dangerous."
"Well Felix, for once I'll listen to you. I just hope that the yellow color of my hair will disappear soon." says Sami with some annoyance.
"This is it. Let's go," Felix says.
They are both waiting to go downstairs, and are practically next to Raiko, who keeps looking out the window while listening to music.
A while later, Raiko arrives at her destination: the cafeteria. As he enters, he asks about her purchase from yesterday, but the lady who attends doesn't know what he referring to.
"We'd better wait for the owner to arrive. He will be here in about 21 minutes. Would you like to wait?" the lady asks.
"How accurate with the time... Uh... yes. And if you can bring me a classic breakfast, I would appreciate it," Raiko replies, feeling hungry. Then, he heads to a table to wait.
As he waits, he begins to think about his plan to change the world.
"Well, I had planned to change the world... but it's a lot. Better to change my city, and make it a better place, and if I can, some other country nearby" he decides for the moment to simplify his goal.
"But how...?" he wonders. A while passed and Raiko's breakfast was ready, he became happy. He went to pick it up, and just walked in a mysterious girl.
Raiko some time after finishing his breakfast, the owner of the cafeteria enters..
"Uh... hello, I came for the purchase I made yesterday," Raiko says.
"The purchase... Ah, yes, the purchase. I knew you'd come for that. But why did you leave without picking it up yesterday?" asks the owner with intrigue.
"Er... because... my father dropped a... refrigerator on top of him, and he needed help," Raiko replies, somewhat nervously.
"And why didn't he call emergency services?" asks the owner, looking at him seriously.
"Uh... because of... nerves. And besides, it would be embarrassing to call emergency services for something like that, don't you think?" Raiko replies with a nervous laugh.
The owner stares at him and then says:
"Wow... hehe, so that's what it was about. I hope your father is well. Mine passed away a while back...for a brick. It fell on his head when he was going shopping..." The man replies, feeling like crying.
"Uh... good? ... Are you okay?" asks Raiko, uncomfortably.
"Yes, I'm fine. I'll go get your groceries from yesterday," the man says, retreating to get them.
Raiko sits back down. Just as he was about to resume her thoughts, the sound of a chair scraping the floor catches her attention. A girl who was sitting at another table stands up. Her hair is black, long, and she wears a cloak that covers her almost completely.
"Thank you," the girl says to the owner, who is still looking for Raiko's purchase.
"You're welcome," the owner replies.
The girl puts on the hood, but Raiko, impressed, notices something peculiar about her eyes: they are pink. He is about to say something to him when the owner shouts:
"I found it!"
Raiko averts her gaze, and when he looks back at the girl, she's already gone.
"I'm sorry it took me a while to find it. It's just that my wife, the one who attended you, had moved it" the owner says, handing her the purchase.
"No problem. Thank you very much. See you," Raiko replies before leaving.
On his way out, he tries to look for the girl, but can't find her. Puzzled, he goes back to his own thing: planning how to change his city and make it a better place.
Meanwhile, the girl is hiding around a corner. Something also puzzled her: she saw that whoever looked at her had red eyes. Although she tries not to make a big deal of it, she watches from afar as he seems to be looking for her, but finally leaves.
Suddenly, someone speaks to her:
"Hey..."
And she immediately receives a slap in the face.
"What's taking you so long, Yshini? I only told you I would wait ten minutes, no more. Did you bring the bread?" a man asks her in an aggressive tone.
"No..." she replies, in a serious manner.
Furious, the man forces her into a car and locks her in.
"Wait here while I get the bread," he says before driving off.
Yshini, tears streaming down her face, murmurs:
"I-I want to be... in... in... a better place."
