The 4 Kings (2)

Way back before the present time. There were 4 kings, The King of Undead, The King of Monsters, and The King of Demons. The 4th one, was considered to be almost more powerful than the others. The King of Divine.

The kings ruled over human kind in their own way. Whether it be, Corruption, Fear, Control, or Guidance, but the kings didn't make balance. The world was completely out of control, so to make up for this, 4 royals were born. Destined to take the throne and rule.

This cycle of overthrowing would go on, but as it did, the world grew stronger, but the Kings grew weaker. Soon the Kings were no more. Or were they. Hidden in the shadows they still roamed. Wreaking havoc among those their ancestors once ruled.

As time went on, The 4 Kings became big again. They created their own Domains, within Kingdoms or regions. Thus came certain regions' names.

One known King was a Female. Even though she was Female she was still referred to as a King. She was The King of Divine. She overthrew the older King of Divine and took the throne. The bad thing is, as A King. You have threats everywhere. The other kings, and the royal destined to overthrow you. She was one of the few Kings to defeat the destined Royal and kill another King.

She had Killed the King of Demons, but she found herself losing her own humanity. Slowly she was becoming something dangerous. So she left the throne, never to be seen again. The first King to ever do so.

In the Kingdom of Cadis. A very cold Kingdom, ruled by the Winter King, Donis. Everyone had already heard the news of the Demon attack. Yet the King didn't care at all about it. You see Cadis cared more about its people and its people weren't civilians or just anybody. It was the rich. Those who were below didn't matter to the King, because they couldn't contribute to his Kingdom.

One night The King was taking his Daughter to bed, when he saw someone in the hall. "Cel… go to your mother, tell her. I won't be down for a while."

"Okay Papa" She innocently went downstairs.

The person in the hall was a man, he seemed to be in his early 30s. His hair was fairly styled and his clothing professional. "Don't worry, I have no ill intent"

"Is it true?"

"Hm?"

"That you did it, you killed Charles Edwards."

The man chuckled. "Indeed, I killed him. He was a... problem."

"How so?"

"Well you should understand, since you're a King as well…" The man's eyes darkened "I had to kill him, because he knew too much information. You'd do the same no?"

King Donis nodded, it was true, if someone knew something he didn't want them to, he'd end them.

"Let us speak in a more private area."

They went to a room where they could be alone and a servant poured some wine and stood nearby. "She deaf?" The man asked

"No… she won't tell"

The man looked at her "Come here" , the servant looked at King Donis and he nodded. She walked over to the man.

"Do you know who I am?"

The servant shook her head and the man chuckled and got up. He pulled her closer and whispered in her ear.

"I'm the King of Demons. The most Evil King of the 4." He stepped back. His red eyes meeting hers. "Oh… fear. How I lust it." He sat down as whispers followed him.

"May… may I ask a question?"

The King of Demons nodded.

"W-why is it that I hear whispers whenever you move?"

"Oh, I forgot normal people cannot see them… What you are hearing… Is my demons."

"Y-Your demons?"

"Correct, I bring Demons around me everywhere I go, they are like my bodyguards, or my secret soldiers. That's why I'm the 2nd most dangerous King. Because even after defeating me. My demons will kill you. Fun right?!"

The servant stepped back with wide eyes as she trembled. King Donis cleared his throat "I think you came here for a different reason, no?"

"Oh, yes yes, Sorry for keeping you." The King of Demons sat down. "You probably don't know, but… the Royal of Monsters is here."

"Is that so? Where is the King of Monsters?"

The King of Demons looked at him "Nearing Arcadia."

Back in the snowy chaos. The boy and Demi-god were already in battle, the area around them was completely destroyed. The Demi-god was missing an arm, but it was already regenerating.

"This was fun." The Demi-god breathlessly said

"Sadly it has to end."

The Demi-god smiled and nodded "Let's do this again, K?"

The boy walked away and so did the Demi-God.

The boy began his journey towards the Kingdom of Cadis. As he did so, he heard galloping and soon enough horses appeared with Knights on them. "You are in the Territory of The Cadis Empire!"

"Empire?"

"Yes, you heard me!" The head knight drew his blade.

"You guys, must not know of me. How sad…. But I'm sure you know of the King of Demons"

The Knights gasped.

The boy smiled. "Think of me as him. I have monsters in-store too." The knights looked at him with confusion.

"What are you talking about, brat!"

"You can come out now, just leave him alive." The boy pointed at the head knight as monsters started to appear from around him from the ground. The monsters came in all forms, some very twisted, some normal, but it wasn't a whole lot, actually it was probably only 100. The King of Monsters best feat, was over a billion in his last war with the King of Divine.

The monsters charged forward and began their attack. The boy however went towards the Head Knight. "You're coming with me to the Capital of Cadis. We are going to pay the King a visit."

He summoned a Lamia and it captured the Head knight and followed the boy through the chaos to their destination.

Kian sat on his bed, he didn't know what to make of this new ability. He sighed as he fell back on his bed and looked at his palm, where the King's Symbol was. He looked a little longer then fell asleep.

As he dreamed he heard a voice. He looked around and his body seemed ethereal. Everything else though, seemed real. He looked around and it was the outside of the Kingdom, near his own village. He walked around through the path that he knew of, until he saw a man in a dark brown cloak. The man had a scary aura though, which made Kian want to stay back, but he knew he had to press forward to understand what was going on.

He followed the fan closely until the man stopped. "I see. So you're the boy."

Kian stopped. Is he talking to me?

"You must not know of me." The man turned and it was revealed that he had green eyes. "Well, soon enough you will. My feast will start in 5 days. You have until then to prepare, or watch yet another massacre happen to those you love. See you soon."

Kian jumped awake, his heart beating wildly. What did he mean? No what… No, there was no question. He knew the answers, but why. Why was everything falling into his hands?

He looked at the King's Mark. He needed help, no one could give, but Larissa. He held out his hand and called out her name "Larissa."

A glowing ball spawned in front of him and landed in the chair in his room and there she was. "Hello, Master Kian"

"I need your help" Kian's eyes showed desperation.

"I see, you want to know how to fight the man you saw in your dreams?" She asked rather calmly, crossing her legs.

"Yes!"

"I see… The man you saw… was none other than…"
