Chapter 1

I had just given birth when my sweetheart passed away.

My husband, embracing his mistress, locked me in the basement to suffocate.

When I opened my eyes again, my husband's lover Harmony was lying in my arms, affectionately calling me:

"Darling, will you make love to me?"

The next moment, a woman using my body entered the room, her hair a mess.

Harmony stood up and cursed, "You bitch, are you here to disturb Ethan and me again?"

Seeing the woman's bewildered gaze, I understood.

It turns out that Ethan and I had swapped souls.

------

When I regained consciousness, I felt something like a loach wriggling in my arms.

"Honey, I'm hungry. You promised to feed me."

Looking down, I saw a familiar face.

Harmony - my scumbag husband's pure love.

The sad part is, we looked about 90% alike.

After being dumped by that rich kid, she turned around and hooked up with Ethan. My entire pregnancy was tormented by her, nearly costing me half my life.

But... why was she hugging me?

And wearing my nightgown?

This wasn't right. I was supposed to be dead.

I sat up abruptly. In the dressing mirror, Ethan's face was reflected back at me.

I had become Ethan!

"Why are you wearing that dress?"

I asked instinctively.

Harmony smiled shyly. "If we're going to be wild, might as well go all out."

I admired sincerely: "You really are one of a kind."

I'd turned into Ethan, so where was the real Ethan?

In my past life, when I caught them together, they were lying on my bed.

During the argument, Harmony pulled me down as we fell, then Ethan locked me in the basement all night.

The next day when I was sent to the hospital, I found out I was already three months pregnant. Due to the pain I experienced, my entire pregnancy was extremely difficult, and our sweetheart's body was particularly fragile, passing away just a few days after birth.

The bedroom door burst open, and "I" rushed in with disheveled hair and a contorted face.

She froze for a moment when she saw me, then immediately screamed loudly, charging towards me: "You bitch, what the hell are you doing!"

I understood then, Ethan and I had switched bodies.

Harmony burrowed deeper into my arms, "Ethan, I'm scared."

Suddenly, I realized that heaven had given me this opportunity to make Ethan taste the same bitterness I had endured.

I shielded Harmony behind me and coldly addressed Ethan, "What's wrong with you? You're scaring Harmony."

Ethan trembled with rage, pointing at me in a frenzy: "Vivienne, I don't care what tricks you've pulled, switch us back right now!"

I held Harmony tighter, whispering softly in her ear.

"Baby, she seems to think you're the imposter."

I turned my back to put on my clothes, giving Harmony ample room to act.

"Ah!"

A scream of agony came from behind. I turned around to see both of them collapsed on the floor, Harmony's face contorted in pain, her eyes brimming with tears. "Ms. Forrester, how could you hit someone?"

Ethan sat on the ground, dumbfounded, his face full of disbelief.

In his mind, Harmony had always been gentle and pure.

But now he had become me, forced to face all of Harmony's venom.

Of course, he wouldn't hate his pure love, he could only glare at me viciously.

"Vivienne, what the hell are you doing!"

Of course, I'm going to mess with you, you fool.

I called for the maid to come in and pointed at Ethan: "Lock her up until she admits her mistake."

The maid trembled fearfully: "But... the madam seems to be pregnant."

Oh right, Ethan doesn't know about my pregnancy yet.

I asked for Harmony's opinion: "Baby, what should we do?"

She leaned against my chest, her eyes brimming with tears, her delicate shoulders shaking uncontrollably.

"Ethan... is she deliberately trying to provoke me? If it weren't for that incident, our child would be due soon too."

Tears like pear blossoms, a pitiful sight to behold.

If it were Ethan, he would surely be heartbroken.

Unfortunately, I'm not him.

In my heart, there's only a raging fire of revenge.

But I still pretended to be full of sympathy, wiping away her tears. The servants immediately understood and came to drag Ethan away.

She twisted and kicked, shouting non-stop.

"I'm the real Ethan, you idiots!"

Harmony pouted, whispering, "So noisy..."

The servants, being astute, promptly gagged Ethan's mouth.
