Chapter ten: The executioner

Kaijo enters the arena and the executioner turns around and towers over him. He lets out a roar and swings his butcher knife around. Kaijo can dodge around and can feel the weight that is behind the swings and is careful to not get hit. The executioner smashes his knife into the ground Kaijo goes in and gets a couple of swings in reducing his hp to 85%. The executioner uses his hand to grab him but Kaijo dodges backwards. He swings his arm around to hit him but Kaijo dodges. He uses the knife again and starts swinging. Kaijo keeps the distance and the executioners eyes flash red and jumps forward smashing the knife down with an incredible speed catching Kaijo offguard. "Hp:20/60" "Ouch! That hurts a lot!" Kaijo says taking a swig of his healing flask. "Healing flaks:4" "Hp:45/60" and dodges the next couple of swings. He waits for an opportunity to heal back to full. The executioner swings his knife and follows up with a grab leaving himself open. Kaijo takes another swig. "Healing flask:3" "Hp:60/60". Kaijo closes the distance and gets one swing in reducing it´s hp to 80%. The executioner jumps back and uses the blood on his knife to launch a barrage of projectiles. Kaijo dodges one and gets hit by another. "Hp: 40/60". The other projectiles hit too because he flinched and kill him. "You died!" Kaijo wakes up and goes back to the bossroom with the elevators. "Let´s use this red powder to buff my weapon!" Kaijo says applying the powder on his weapon which is now coated in fire. He goes in and the executioner jumps in smashing his knife into the ground. Kaijo dodges and gets a couple of hits in reducing his hp to 80%. The executioner grabs for him Kaijo dodges and the executioner swings again. Kaijo keeps a distance and parries the last smash but the executioner simpy does it again. Kaijo dodges now and gets one hit in reducing it´s hp to 75% inflicting burn on him. The executioner catches fire and starts screaming with red glowing eyes and goes wild swinging the knife around smashing the ground with his fists and rolling around in the ground to put out the fire. In the end he puts it out with his hp being reduced to 50%. The executioner now back to his normal self attacks normally again swinging his knife and fists and grabbing for Kaijo. Kaijo dodges gets two hits in and backs up again reducing his hp to 40%. The executioner now covered in wounds and bleeding out now powers up with red eyes and a red aura around him he lets a roar and Kaijo flinches. The executioner launches a barrage of blood projectiles from his knife. Kaijo strafes and dodges them reducing his stamina a lot. The executioner jumps in smashing his knife into the ground and Kaijo can barely dodge with almost no stamina. The executioner swings again and Kaijo blocks but lets his guard be broken and the executioner grabs him with his hand and squeezes him reducing his hp. "Hp:25/60." Kaijo backs off and takes two swigs of his healing potion "Hp:50/60" "healing flask:0" but is interrupted the executioner swinging his knife hitting him two times and finishes Kaijo off. "You died!" Kaijo wakes up again and runs back. "Three times´s the charm!" He says going in. The executioner jumps in again and Kaijo dodges getting a couple of hits in reducing his hp to 80%. The executioners eyes flash red and he smashes his knife at Kaijo. Kaijo parries. The executioner smashes at him again. He parries again and again. The executioner is now out of breath and Kaijo rushes in jumping up slashing his throat. "Critical hit!" reducing his hp to 60%. The executioner jumps back launches his blood projectiles, which Kaijo dodges. The executioners eyes glow red and the last projectile is bigger and stronger and a vertical slice. Kaijo dodges and the executioner jumps in smashing his knife into the ground and then swings it around. Kaijo dodges all the attacks with no stamina left now. The executioner is out of breath and Kaijo lets his stamina recover and cuts at the executioners arm. "Critical hit!" reducing his hp to 55%. The executioner attacks again and uses his fists to punch him. Kaijo dodges. The executioner smashes his knife into the ground. Kaijo parries and the cycle repeats three times. The executioner charges a swing up and then finishes with a big smash. Kaijo parries and cuts at the arm again "Critical hit!" reduces his hp to 40%. The executioners arm barely hanging on he enrages buffs up now with red eyes and aura. He launches blood projectiles again. Kaijo strafes and dodges getting into a flow state. The projectiles seem to be moving slow. Kaijo ducks under a couple and moves to the side dodging the last vertical slash with minimal stamina consumption. The executioner jumps in smashing his knife into the ground Kaijo dodges and parries the next swing cutting at the arm again "Critical hit!" reducing his hp to 25% lopping the hand off and the knife too. He roars and powers up again. He rushes in and tries to grab with his left hand and attacks with his stump launching blood at him dealing damage. He dodges backwards until at the wall. The executioner kicks at him and Kaijo rushes in dodging and slashing the other leg reducing his hp to 20% toppling him. Kaijo uses both hands and cuts him with a vertical slice in the back leaving a nasty cut reducing his hp to 10%. The executioner stands up again and swings his hands around and kicks at him. Kaijo runs at the other end and uses his magic orbs to finish him off. The executioner runs into the attack and dies. "Old champion slain!" "+20.000 souls." "fragment of the gods soul acquired!". Kaijo celebrates and loots the body. "Item acquired: Executioners mask . Defense: 250. Item description: a mask of the executioner. Being drenched in blood buffs the user by 5%." "Item acquired: Butchering knife. Attack: 300. Requirements: 25 strength. Item description: A massive butchering knife used by the executioner. It´s size is bigger than any ordinary man. It´s weight makes it more powerful but one has to mindful not to miss." Kaijo finds a old hero´s body and puts the coiled sword in and rests at it. Increasing his strength to 25 and stamina to 27. He gets the knowledge of techniques from the old hero soul and the fragment of the gods soul. From the old hero he gets a new technique: "Powerful strike. Skill description: Charge up your weapon and launch a powerful strike incapaciting enemies for a short time. Stamina cost: 10." and from the fragment of the god souls: "Divine retribution: When this skill is used all damage taken is turned into a buff for a short duration." Himori appears to congratulate him. "Congratulations, you´ve slain one old champion and received a fragment of the god souls. The closest one up is the old baron in the north in the mountainous region near the lost woods." She says. "Alright!" he says and she disappears. He equips the executioners knife and it is bigger than him and the blade is massive it can´t even be called a knife anymore. He swings it around couple of swings and a smash and tries out powerful strike. The skill makes the weapon glow white and the smash is powerful leaving a dent in the floor. He climbs up the ladder and is on the roof and finds a nest. He goes into the nest and a whirlwind hawk goes and grabs him and flies off through the skies transporting him onto small lookout tower in the mountain range of the old baron.
