Julian had planned to meet Fran before leaving, but as he and Sena limped through the dim village streets at night, he noticed her familiar pink ball of fluff was absent. The dull flicker of lanterns and hushed murmurs of conversation felt strangely muted when wrapped in darkness.
"So, did you pick your talent?" He shifted his eyes, noticing the pair of eastern blades sitting at Sena's waist, with both her hands resting on them comfortably.
Her eyes peeked at him before darting away. "Maybe," she pushed her lips together, struggling to hold in her smile as she turned away.
She twirled around his body, both hands stretching out and brushing along the sleeves of his new robes, before her soft lips moved seductively. "Do you want to know, darling?"
'This girl is a fox!'
