The journey on the way back to Five Schools, Raphael listened to Evelyn praising him.
"That was incredible, Raph! I've only ever seen you use the white flames. Whatever this new power is, it's incredibly strong."
"Do you understand what you've done? Once news spreads that you defeated the Phoenix Queen's husband in battle, you'll become even more famous than you were before!"
"Perhaps you can even become a lord yourself. You've definitely earned yourself some followers, especially those who hated Charles Thornbatch!"
Raphael mostly remained silent as Evelyn spoke cheerfully during their journey.
Lord.. she thinks I want to become a mere Lord.
He thought about his dreams of becoming King and what it could entail.
The Five Queens would be his.
All I need to do is wait for the news to spread.
---
Once reaching the Five Schools, the sun had begun to set, so it was time for the two to part ways.
"Can I stay with you today?" Evelyn asked, looking at Raphael with puppy eyes. "Leofric is not the man for me, I know it!"
Raphael couldn't help but chuckle to himself.
Leofric was still recovering from the burns he sustained during their duel. It was uncertain of what his condition was like, and yet Evelyn did not even care to check up on him.
He wanted to accept her offer, but he was too tired to satisfy her that night. Using the black and white flames together had taken a toll on his body.
"I would love to, but I'm drained. I'll need a lot of rest tonight." He responded.
Evelyn pouted her bottom lip and looked at him with her big green eyes, attempting to make herself look as sad as possible.
Raphael pulled her into an embrace, catching her off guard. He caressed her ass cheeks, lifting his hand beneath her skirt and feeling the warmth of her skin on his hands.
Evelyn let out a surprised yelp but allowed herself to be touched, wrapping her arms around him.
"I really appreciate you coming with me on this journey Evelyn. You're a special woman to me, I hope you know that." Raphael said into her ear, as he enjoyed the softness of her behind.
Evelyn smiled to herself, her panties becoming wet at the feeling of being groped by her lover.
Afterwards, the two pulled away from each other, but Raphael didn't leave before planting a kiss on her soft lips.
Evelyn's face grew blushed, as he turned to leave.
"We'll enjoy ourselves together soon, don't worry," Raphael said over his shoulder before entering the Rose School Building and heading to his dorm to sleep.
Evelyn returned to her dorm with a smile on her face.

Knock knock
Raphael was awakened by the sounds of a knock coming from his door.
He seemed to have slept in. His body clearly needed the sleep even more than he could imagine.
He ignored the knocks for a moment, wishing to spend as much time in comfort as he could.
Knock, knock, knock.
Whoever it was, was persistent.
Raphael rose from his bed, putting on his clothes and heading to the bathroom to splash himself with water.
Knock, knock, knock.
Seriously?
"I'm coming, be patient." He said loud enough for the visitor to hear.
Once he was ready, and made his way over to the door, he heard a knock once again.
Now he was irritated.
Raphael pulled open the door with frustration, prepared to give a mouthful to the annoying intruder.
"Don't you know what patient means-"
His words were cut off, as he caught a sight of who the knocks belonged to.
A woman stood at his door, wearing an entirely black uniform. Her skirt was tight, clingy to the curves of her hips, and her legs were covered by tights of the same colour.
Her shirt was black as well, and on top of it, she wore a black fur jacket. Despite the layers of clothing, her large breasts were on display, struggling to be contained by her shirt.
Underneath both of her dark eyes were small, red heart-shaped tattoos, which gave her a unique appearance.
However, what stood out most, was the golden crown that she wore on top of her black ponytail.
The Phoenix Queen had come to visit.
The woman looked Raphael up and down, a scornful expression spread across her face.
He felt like her eyes were piercing into him. The woman was so beautiful, yet she stared at him with such... Disappointment.
"It can't be you. I must have the wrong room." The Phoenix Queen said. She was tall, barely having to look up at him as she spoke.
"What do you mean?" Raphael asked, caught off guard by her words.
"What I mean, is you can't be the student that defeated my husband in a duel. Raphael Brooks, the one that the students have started to call the Child of the Dragons."
Even Raphael was taken aback.
Have they really started calling me that? The rumours must be spreading quickly.
More importantly though, one of his targets stood right in front of him.
The Phoenix Queen.
He had already conquered Harmony, the Rose Queen, and this woman would be next.
He wiped away his look of surprise and replaced it with one of confidence.
Then, he contacted the dragons in his head and held out his hand with his palms facing the ceiling.
The orders he had given the twin dragons were simple. Create a small fire.
The Phoenix Queen watched with an upraised eyebrow, confused as to what the student was doing.
And then, a fire spurted from both of Raphaels palms.
One black like the night sky, and the other white like the clouds.
The Phoenix Queen instinctively leapt backwards, fear evident on her face. Yet Raphael just looked at her with a smile.
"Yes. I'm the student that defeated him; I'm glad that the news has begun to spread."
He let the fires disappear, leaving The Phoenix Queen staring at him with an apprehensive expression.
"What do you think of that, Ma'am?" He asked her smugly. "Your husband was truly beaten by a new student, just like your son was."
It seemed as though the Phoenix Queen had not recognised him from the Annual Duels, or simply chose not to put spite.
But now, she most certainly remembered.
