The Soul Core Ranking System and Titles
The Soul Core is the essence of magic within every individual, acting as both the source and limiter of their magical potential. Each soul core emits a specific color corresponding to its rank, following the ROYGBIV spectrum, with unique ranks at the highest and lowest extremes. This system defines an individual's magical aptitude and societal standing.

Core Traits and Lytharium Stones
Magical Stones (Lytharium Stones)These rare, glowing stones serve as the primary means for accelerating growth in soul-core rank. Mined from ancient veins deep underground, they are tightly controlled by nobles and magical orders. Overusing these stones can lead to catastrophic results, such as the cracking or collapse of one's core, often resulting in death or corruption into a Black Core.
Types of Lytharium Stones:
Raw Lytharium: Found in its natural, unstable state. Dangerous to handle without refinement.
Refined Lytharium: Stabilized by alchemists, providing safer and steadier energy for core enhancement.
Corrupted Lytharium: Tainted by black magic, these stones offer immense power at the high risk of transforming the user into a Black Core.
How Lytharium Stones Are Consumed
Activation of the Stone: The stone must be awakened through a magical ritual, channeling the user's essence into it until it glows with energy.
Absorption Through the Core: The user guides the stone's energy into their body, allowing it to flow through magical pathways and be absorbed directly by their core. This process enhances the core's strength and may shift its rank and color.
Potential Reactions:
Successful Absorption: The core grows stronger, refining the user's magical abilities.
Overload or Failure: Excess energy may crack the core, causing permanent damage, death, or transformation into a Black Core. Unabsorbed energy can escape violently, causing burns or magical shockwaves.
Detection of Core Rank
Mages can view the soul cores of others by focusing their magical essence into their eyes. However, this skill requires training, and individuals with higher-ranked cores can often mask their true color. Without magical sight, cores remain invisible.
Godlike and Abyssal Beings
White Core (Divine Rank): Individuals with white cores possess unparalleled wisdom and can influence natural laws, existing far above mortals.
Black Core (Abyss Rank): Black cores are tied to forbidden arts, parasitic entities, or experiments gone wrong. They radiate fearsome energy and corrupt everything around them.
