Hikari's voice calm. "That's because, Ken, you know about the old Earth—before the one we live on now. The people from that time were highly advanced. Their technology was beyond anything we can imagine today. They had powerful weapons, machines, and devices that could do anything. But in their pursuit of progress and growth, they destroyed everything natural—the trees, the water, the air. They ruined the very foundation of life.".. She paused, her eyes serious. "The history says that there were creatures called robots. They were created to serve humanity but eventually grew so advanced that they began to control people instead. Wars broke out—wars between humans, robots, and even monstrous creatures created by humans' greed and experiments. The Earth was on the brink of total destruction, all because of human selfishness."
Ken listened.
"But," she said, her tone softening slightly, "when things were at their worst, one person—a brave soul—managed to enter another dimension. His name is Lord Takahiro, It's said he reached the domain of the gods themselves. There, he was blessed with magic powers, a gift meant to restore balance to the world. When he returned to Earth, he realized he couldn't carry the burden of that power alone. So, he split it."
"Split it?" Ken asked.
Hikari nodded. "Yes, he divided the magic into six orbs, each one holding a unique and immense power. These were no ordinary orbs—they were infused with colors that reflected their essence. The first was a blue orb, representing ice, capable of freezing anything it touches, even time itself in a way. The second was a red orb, embodying fire, with the power to burn through even the strongest barriers and create flames that never die."
She raised a finger, counting as she spoke. "The third was a green orb, the orb of healing, capable of curing any injury or illness, no matter how severe. The fourth was a violet orb, also known as the power orb, which holds immense destructive energy. It's said to have the power to destroy entire landscapes with a single touch if wielded recklessly."
"The fifth," Hikari continued, "was a silver orb. It holds the ability to teleport its wielder anywhere, even without a teleportation stone. It also allows them to carry objects in an inventory-like dimension—almost like having access to an endless space."
"The sixth," Hikari said, her voice dropping slightly, "was a black and red orb. Unlike the others, this orb doesn't have any known power. It's said to be completely normal—a mystery among the six. But some believe it holds a hidden purpose, one that even the gods didn't reveal."
The person who split the magic into six orbs didn't keep them in one place. Instead, he scattered them across the Earth, each orb in a different location. he used the orbs to teleport people to the new world.
And with that, they were teleported to a new world. The people who were teleported by the red orb found themselves endowed with the power of fire. Those who came into contact with the blue orb gained control over ice. The green orb's influence granted healing powers, while the violet orb imbued its bearers with destructive energy. However, the black and red orb was different. Anyone drawn to it didn't receive any magical power at all. They were simply teleported to a new world—no abilities just ordinary humans.
This new world, chansu was unlike any Earth the humans had known before. It was vastly different, much larger than their previous home. chansu was three times bigger than the original Earth, with two suns and five moons.Though chansu seemed almost identical to the Earth from their past.everyone was teleported here with the Lord, Takahiro , who teleported them and he gave the most important rule over the humans. The first thing was that humans didn't have the right to improve technology. As he knew what would happen in the end, he set this rule. He limited the use of harmful technologies, those that would destroy society and lead to the destruction of Earth.
Secondly, for the people who didn't have any powers, he made them work in areas without magic, like in the science field. He understood that knowledge improvement was important, which is why he emphasized cultural importance and development in those areas. He built everything with this vision in mind.
Then, suddenly, a most demonic evil attacked the place. The Lord, Takahiro, battled it and defeated it. Using the six magic balls, he created a barrier around chansu. However, he only covered half of the chansu with the barrier, leaving the remaining half exposed. The demons that had been released during the battle spread across that uncovered part of the Earth. Even after the evil was destroyed, the demons continued to infest the land.
After all, our main intention is simply to find more things outside the half of the Earth. If we join in the monster hunting, we can discover everything in that half of the Earth. As Lord Takahiro created this world, and the job of the monster hunters is to uncover more, that's the goal. We can discover a lot of things there.
She paused, looking toward her friends as the weight of history hung in the air. Kaito spoke up.
"What do you feel after hearing that history?" Kaito asked. "People are starting to forget what happened in the past. Everyone's moving faster, but doesn't that feel wrong? It's unsettling, right?"
Aiko added, "So, what do you think? Are you considering joining the monster hunting? It could help us uncover more about the world."
Ken, responded calmly, "No. I'm not interested."
Kaito nodded and said with a smile, "Okay, fine. If you change your mind, just let me know. We can go together, find more things, and it'll be fun."
Aiko then spoke, glancing at the time. "Alright, we're done here, right? Why don't we head back home? It's already getting late, and it's time to wrap up the explanation. It took longer than expected. Let's go."
"Yeah, yeah," both Hikari and Kaito responded as they stood up.
They gathered their things, walking toward the exit together.
As they stepped out of the mall, Aiko glanced at the others and said, "I just have to go to another place, so I'll be leaving from here. Kaito, are you coming with me, or are you staying?"
Kaito nodded without hesitation. "Yes, I promised I'd go with you. I'll come."
Aiko turned to the others with a warm smile. "Alright, then. We're heading off from here. You two just go home, okay?"
"Sure," Hikari replied simply, watching as Aiko and Kaito waved goodbye and walked off together.
Now it was just Ken and Hikari left. They began walking toward their homes side by side. The evening air was quiet, with only the sound of their footsteps echoing.
Hikari broke the silence first. "Today was really fun, wasn't it?"
Ken gave a small nod. "Yeah".
Hikari Said "I'm really sorry for making you go through all this. I said it was just for buying headphones, but because of my friends, everything became a lot more than that. I hope you didn't mind."
Ken shook his head. "No problem."
Hikari smiled, then suddenly stopped walking. "Oh! I just remembered—I forgot to give you this." She opened her bag and pulled out a neatly folded coat. "It's your coat."
Ken took it from her hands."thanks."
"I washed it for you," Hikari said, her voice light.
He started to tuck it under his arm, but Hikari quickly spoke up. "Wait—you didn't bring any bags, did you? It'll just be a hassle for you to carry it like that. How about I keep it for now? I'll give it to you when you're heading home."
Ken hesitated but nodded in agreement. "Okay."
As Ken and Hikari continued walking, the quiet rhythm of their steps was broken when a faint light began to glow ,Ken's feet. He slowed, glancing down in confusion. A glowing magic circle was forming around him, its intricate patterns radiating outwards, trapping him in its center. It pulsed with an eerie light, growing brighter by the second.
Within the circle, several small diamond-shaped objects appeared. They floated around Ken, spinning and circling him like restless spirits. He stopped in his tracks, staring in shock. "What... is this?" he muttered under his breath.
Before he could make sense of it, an intense pain shot through his body. Ken's knees buckled, and he collapsed to the ground, clutching his chest. His hands froze, trembling.
Hikari gasped, quickly kneeling beside him. "Ken! What's happening? Are you okay?!" Her voice was filled with panic, her eyes darting between him and the glowing circle. She reached out but hesitated, unsure of what to do.
Suddenly, the sound of slow, deliberate steps broke the tension. Hikari snapped her head up, spotting a figure emerging from the shadows, walking toward them. The man's expression was cold, his presence intimidating.
"How could we leave a person alive who killed our friends?" the man said, his tone filled with venom as his eyes locked onto Ken.
Hikari froze, her breath catching in her throat. "Killed? What is he talking about?" she thought, her mind racing. She glanced back at Ken, who was still writhing in pain, and then at the approaching figure. Panic surged through her. "What's going on? Why is this happening?"
The man didn't stop. His steps were slow but purposeful, and his dark aura seemed to press down on her. Then, behind him, more figures emerged—five, six of them. One of them, standing at the back, raised his gloved hand. On the glove's palm, a faint glow appeared, forming a small magic circle. The intricate patterns, and as he pointed his hand toward Hikari, the circle expanded, casting an ominous light.
Hikari tried to move—but she couldn't. Her body was frozen in place, her arms and legs completely unresponsive because of ice. She struggled, but it was no use. "I… can't move…" she whispered, terror gripping her.
Hikari frozen, unable to move. The Black Aura person turned his attention to Ken, who was lying on the ground, weakened and struggling.
Without wearing any gloves like the others, the Black Aura person calmly raised his bare hand. From the small, diamond-like structures spinning around Ken, black aura chains shot out. Four chains emerged from different diamonds, spiraling swiftly through the air before wrapping tightly around Ken, binding him completely. He struggled, but the chains held firm.
Lowering his hand, the Black Aura person spoke in a cold, "Until we reach the base, you'll suffer like this."
Without another glance, he turned and began walking away at a steady pace. His voice echoed back, sharp and commanding, "Let's go."When the Black Aura person said that, one of the six people behind him responded, "Yes," and they all started to move.
The Black Aura person then dropped four small, diamond-like structures from his hand. As they hit the ground, they suddenly began to float and spin around Hikari. From these spinning diamonds, black aura chains emerged, wrapping tightly around her frozen body. The chains lifted her off the ground, making her float behind the Black Aura person. At the same time, Ken also started to float, still bound by the dark chains, moving to the same position behind the Black Aura person.
Everyone continued walking.
Suddenly, the Black Aura person stopped, turning his head slightly. His eyes focused on a distant street, where, at the far corner of a turn, he noticed someone standing.
"There's someone there," he said coldly. "Want to clear them too? Go and see who it is."
The person who had frozen Hikari—Raze—stepped forward without hesitation. He moved toward the distant street to check who was there. As he walked, his sharp eyes caught the faint shadow of someone standing at the corner.
"Hmph," Raze muttered to himself with a smirk. "Trying to hide? Or just too scared to move?"
Reaching the corner, Raze turned quickly, but there was no one in sight. His eyes narrowed as he scanned the empty street. He glanced back over his shoulder, looking toward the Black Aura person and the others standing in the distance.
No signs of movement. No one was there. He stepped deeper into the narrow street, carefully checking every corner. After a thorough search, he found nothing. With an irritated breath, he turned around and walked back toward the group.
"There's no one there," he reported, his tone flat. "I don't know who it was, but when I got there, the place was empty. I checked it clearly—the whole street is empty."
The Black Aura person didn't react much. He simply said, "No one's there? Start moving."
Without another word, he resumed walking, and the rest followed in silence.
After walking only a short distance, the Black Aura person came to a halt. His dark eyes scanned the empty sky above. Without saying a word, he slowly raised his hand.
A ripple of black aura surged from his palm, The space above them began to distort, and within moments, the once-invisible spaceship materialized. The ship was massive, its surface armored with sleek, dark metal, covered in intricate patterns of glowing red lines that pulsed like veins. Mounted along its sides were advanced weapon systems—large cannons, sleek turrets, and other modern weaponry designed for destruction.
At the front of the ship, two large, menacing eyes glowed crimson, and below them was a jagged, monstrous mouth filled with sharp, demon-like teeth. The "face" of the ship gave it an eerie, predatory appearance, as if it was alive and watching.
The ship recognized the Black Aura person standing below. The monstrous mouth slowly opened, emitting a deep, mechanical growl-like sound. Without any spoken command, black energy surged from the ship, engulfing the group. In an instant, they were all teleported inside the spaceship.
