In the world of Auralis, the Loom System governs power through the Threads of Fate, each individual awakening with a thread type.

These threads determine one's innate potential, growth trajectory, and battle capabilities. While training and experience increase a thread's stage, its fundamental class is something bestowed by the world itself, making it an inseparable part of one's destiny.

Threads absorb energy from slain monsters, defeated enemies, and environmental resonance, allowing them to grow in strength. However, even at their highest stage, they do not forcefully evolve into a higher class—instead, they must undergo a rare event known as Thread Awakening, where the Loom System itself determines if the thread remains at its peak or ascends into a greater form.

This is why bloodlines with innate high-tier threads work tirelessly to preserve their lineage, ensuring their descendants awaken greater potential from the start.

Common Threads

🔹 Description: The most widespread thread type, awakened by most of the population. Common Threads excel in adaptability, allowing wielders to develop basic combat, defense, or support skills. They can reach high stages of refinement but are naturally limited compared to higher-tier threads.

🔸 Traits & Characteristics:

Easily trainable and compatible with most Loom techniques.Can absorb external energy efficiently but struggles to evolve beyond Common Rank.

Masters of Common Threads develop vast versatility but lack unique dominance

Stage Evolution: Stage 10 Common Threads may undergo Thread Awakening, ascending to Rare threads or remaining at their pinnacle.

Each thread falls under a tiered classification, determining its base power, growth potential, and affinity to the Loom System. Even within the same class, they have stages (1-10), but stage 10 does not guarantee advancement—only Thread Awakening can elevate its class.

Rare Threads

🔹 Description: Rare Threads are more refined and potent, often showing elemental affinity (fire, water, lightning, etc.) or an innate combat trait (e.g., increased physical durability, faster mana regeneration). They are often found among trained warriors, seasoned mercenaries, and noble retainers.

🔸 Traits & Characteristics:

Possess unique affinity, allowing more advanced weaving techniques.Easier to refine than Common Threads but still faces limits at higher levels.Requires specific training methods to maximize their potential.

Stage Evolution: Stage 10 Rare Threads have a chance to awaken into Unique or even Divine threads, though only the most gifted experience this transformation.

Unique Threads

🔹 Description: Unique Threads are one-of-a-kind, usually inherited through ancient bloodlines or unlocked through extraordinary experiences. They grant wielders specific abilities, such as shadow weaving, astral projection, or enhanced regeneration.

🔸 Traits & Characteristics:

Not bound by conventional weaving laws, allowing exclusive skills.Some Unique Threads manifest hidden properties, requiring advanced mastery.

Typically found in elite clans, though rare individuals may awaken them by chance.

Divine Threads

🔹 Description: Divine Threads are extraordinarily rare, often seen in royalty, sacred guardians, and legendary figures. They are infused with primordial energy, allowing wielders to perform high-level weaving that surpasses mortal limits.

Self-regenerating, allowing continuous energy flow.Exceptionally durable, making them nearly unbreakable.Can influence environmental threads, altering battlefield conditions.Often linked to ancestral bloodlines or divine blessings.

Stage Evolution: Divine Threads at Stage 10 can ascend to Sovereign Threads, though this is an event so rare it is considered mythical.

Sovereign Threads

🔹 Description: Sovereign Threads are the embodiment of dominion, wielded only by those recognized by the Loom System as rulers of fate. Those who awaken them are feared, revered, or hunted, as their very existence disrupts the balance of Auralis.

Shape reality itself, allowing influence over the natural order.Can overwrite other threads, forcing opponents into submission.Requires absolute willpower, as weaker minds may shatter under their influence.Often wielded by founders of dynasties, legendary warlords, or awakened sovereigns.

Stage Evolution: Few Sovereign Threads have ever been recorded evolving, but it is whispered that beyond them lies an even greater power...

Mutation Chance refers to the rare but profound transformation where an individual unlocks a racial prowess beyond human limits. This transformation sacrifices versatility for unparalleled mastery, shifting their ability to weave all thread types into an exclusive attunement to a specific type of weaving.

A Human's Natural Weaving Potential

Humans are unique in their ability to harness all types of threads, making them the most adaptable Weavers. However, on a cosmic scale, humans are incapable of surpassing the absolute limits of thread mastery. Other races or cosmic beings outclass humans in specific weaving types due to evolutionary attunements.

What Happens During a Mutation Chance?

The Weaver's bloodline or essence mutates, rewriting their connection to the Loom System.The Weaver loses access to all weaving types except the one they have attuned to.

In return, their mastery over that specific thread type reaches supernatural heights, rivaling or even surpassing cosmic races that are born with that attunement.

Example: A human who undergoes a fire-attuned mutation can weave fire threads at a level no normal human can achieve, but they lose the ability to weave water, ice, or earth threads entirely.

Why Some Races Developed Specific Attunements?

Some non-human races developed specialized thread mastery due to centuries of evolution.This specialization came at a cost: they lost the ability to weave opposing threads, limiting their versatility but making them dominant in one field.

Example: A race attuned to the Void Weave can manipulate void threads at godlike levels but cannot weave life-based or light threads.

Mutation Chances can take different forms, shaping an individual's abilities based on their thread affinity and the transformation they undergo.

1️⃣ Pure Attunement Mutation

The Weaver becomes an embodiment of a single weaving type.This mutation maximizes their proficiency in one domain, but they lose access to all other threads.

2️⃣ Hybridized Racial Mutation

The Weaver takes on traits of a non-human race attuned to a specific weaving type. This may come with physical changes, such as glowing marks, ethereal limbs, or a complete shift in physiology.

3️⃣ Cosmic Mutation (Extremely Rare)

The Weaver's existence is rewritten by the Loom System itself, making them something beyond mortal comprehension.

Their new form may be part-spirit, part-elemental, or even partially transcendent, but they sacrifice their original humanity.
