CHAPTER 17: TRUTH OF THE FOURTH ARTFAC
The cave looks mystical, guarded by two giant statues that stand majestically on both sides of the entrance. The statues look old-fashioned, full of carvings of symbols they do not understand, as if they were markers that this place was not just any place.
"So, this is the place," murmured Niswara, his hand holding his gentle sparkling green wooden stick. Strange energy that fills the place feels piercing to the bones, creating a heavy feeling in their chest.
The horizon touched the surface of the statue, then took a deep breath. "This cave is more than just a door. I can feel that in it, there is something far bigger than what we think. "
Wira stood at the front, holding the lightning light sword in her hand. The sword, the results of the merging of three previous artifacts, seemed to shine dim, as if responding to strong energy originating from the cave. "Mahaguru Kalgi is waiting for us inside. We must prepare for anything. "
When they entered the cave, the atmosphere changed drastically. Light from the outside slowly disappeared, replaced by green sparkle that radiated from the wall of the cave. The air inside feels heavy, full of magical aura which makes their steps feel slow.
In the middle of the main room of the cave, an old man sat cross -legged on a large rock. Long black robes with golden patterns enveloped his body, and wise aura radiated from each of his movements. Wira knows, this is Mahaguru Kalgi, the fourth artifact guard.
Mahaguru Kalgi opened his eyes slowly, staring at Wira sharply. "Students from Empu Tirtha finally arrived," he said in a heavy but calm voice. "I'm waiting for you, Wira."
Wira bowed respectfully. "Mahaguru, we came to ask for your guidance and get the fourth artifact."
Mahaguru Kalgi smiled faintly, then stood up. Even though his body is old, the energy emitted by him is very strong, making the atmosphere of the cave feel even more tense. In his hand grasped a round gem with a bright gold color - the fourth artist they were looking for.
"This artifact is not just ordinary objects," said Mahaguru Kalgi, stepping closer to Wira. "This artifact is a time controller, and can only be used by those who have a balanced heart - between courage, goodness, and responsibility. Before I submit it, you must understand the truth behind everything. "
Mahaguru Kalgi held out his hand, asking for Wira's lightning light sword. "Give the sword. I will explain. "
Wira handed her sword without hesitation. Mahaguru Kalgi raised the sword, then looked at him deeply. "This sword is the result of three artifacts that you have found. Light, lightning, and life energy. However, this sword is still not perfect. "
He looked at Wira sharply. "Empu Tirtha, your teacher, is one of us, the students who are tasked with maintaining the balance of the world. Each artifact has its duties, and when everything is combined, they will create the ultimate weapon to fight the darkness. However, this magnitude also brings a big risk. If it falls into the wrong hands, the world can be destroyed. "
Mahaguru Kalgi paused for a moment, staring at Wira deeply. "You know what this means, right? If I submit this artifact to you, that means I entrust the balance of the world in your hands. "
Wira nodded firmly. "I'm ready, Mahaguru. This trip is not just about me, but about protecting the world from the threat of darkness. "
Mahaguru Kalgi smiled faintly. He placed the fourth artifact on the lightning light sword, and in an instant, strong energy radiated from the combination. The sword trembled violently, issuing a flashy flash of light. Now, along the sword blades, the golden lines are bright, and the energy time feels flowing from the weapon.
"This sword now has the power to control time," explained Mahaguru Kalgi. "However, remember, time is a very dangerous power. If you abuse it, you not only destroy yourself, but also this world. "
Wira felt a big burden in his hand, but he also knew that the sword was now more than just a weapon. The sword is the last world's hope.
Before they could digest it all, the roar was heard from outside the cave. Niswara immediately turned his head, his face was full of worries. "What's that?"
Mahaguru Kalgi sighed heavily. "King hell knows you have arrived here. He sent an army to stop you. "
King of hell, the Varashka. "
The name makes the atmosphere inside the cave tense. Friends of Wira looked at each other with a worried expression. The horizon, with his black flame magic, looks tightly holding his stick. Niswara, the green magic user, was seen trying to calm his feelings.
"The king of hell, Varashka, is the ruler of the darkness who has controlled the underworld. He has risen and tried to rule this world," continued Mahaguru Kalgi. "He is the mastermind of all this chaos. To defeat him, your sword must be integrated with all the artifacts that have been scattered."
Wira looked at the sword she was holding. The lightning light that radiated from the sword now seemed to be integrated with the strength he had. However, when Mahaguru Kalgi handed over the crystal artifact of time control, the sword began to vibrate violently.
"I will help you unite this artifact," said Mahaguru Kalgi.
Mahaguru Kalgi pointed his hands at the Wira sword, then said the ancient mantra that sounded like a song from the missing era. Slowly, the time -controlling crystal is integrated with the sword, creating a burst of light that is so strong that it makes everyone close their eyes.
When the light subsides, the sword in the hands of Wira has changed. The sword now looks longer, with a glowing blade like a night sky filled with lightning and star. In the middle of the bar, it appears a rotating jam -sand symbol carving.
"This sword now has the power to control time in battle," said Mahaguru Kalgi. "However, remember, Wira, this power is not to be misused. Time is the most fragile element in the universe."
The horizon approached Wira, his eyes imply admiration. "With this sword, we have a greater chance of fighting Varashka."
However, Mahaguru Kalgi warned them. "You must be careful. Varashka will not stay silent. He knows this artifact is here, and he will definitely send his troops to seize it."
---
Attack from the dark force
Before they could plan the next step, the cave suddenly shook violently. From the entrance, there was a roar that was so terrible. The black shadow crept in, accompanied by dozens of wolf -headed creatures with the human body. Varashka's dark troops have found them.
"You have to leave immediately!" Exclaimed Mahaguru Kalgi. "I'll hold them here."
"No, Mahaguru," Wira answered firmly. "We will not leave you alone. This is our battle together."
Mahaguru Kalgi smiled faintly. "You are really the heir of Empu Tirtha. Alright, we will fight them together."
The battle broke out in the cave. The horizon issued his black fire magic, sweeping the approaching darkness creatures. Niswara uses her green magic to create a protective shield and heal the wounds of her friends. Wira, with her new sword, cuts the enemy with an attack that emits lightning and slows time around them.
However, the dark troops seemed endless. Varashka, although not present directly, sent the energy of darkness which made the creatures stronger.
Mahaguru Kalgi, with all the forces he has, created a circle of magic in the middle of the cave. "Wira, you have to go now! This circle will take you to a safe place. I will guard this door so that they don't chase you."
"But Mahaguru ..." Wira doubted.
"Go, Wira! Your journey is still long!" Exclaimed Mahaguru Kalgi.
With a heavy heart, Wira and her friends stepped into the magic circle. The bright light enveloped them, and in an instant, they had moved to a place far from the cave.
However, before leaving, Wira had seen Mahaguru Kalgi standing tall, against the darkness of the troops with all his strength. In his heart, Wira vowed to stop Varashka and complete their mission to respect the sacrifice of Mahaguru Kalgi
