Chapter : 16 : Attention!

The morning sunlight streamed through the wide corridor windows, casting a soft glow on the bustling school hallway. Students filled the space, their voices blending into a mixture of chatter, footsteps, and the occasional squeak of rubber shoes on polished tile.

But amidst the usual morning rush, an unusual sight caught everyone's attention.

I was walking toward my classroom, holding hands with not just one, but two beautiful girls—Ahane Mei and Ahane Hana. Our fingers were intertwined, their warmth seeping into my skin, a constant reminder that this was real.

Mei, on my right, was gripping my hand tightly, her expression somewhere between smug pride and mild embarrassment. On my left, Hana was holding my hand gently, her fingers resting lightly in my grasp, her cheeks tinged with the softest shade of pink.

As expected, this spectacle did not go unnoticed.

"Hey, am I seeing things, or is that new studemt walking with two girls, holding their hands at the same time?" a boy whispered to his friend.

"Damn… I knew he was a dark horse, but this? This is next-level!"

"Wait, wait, are those the Ahane twins?!" a girl gasped, nearly dropping her books.

"That's Mei and Hana, right?"

"How in the world did he pull this off?"

The whispers spread like wildfire, turning heads and sparking intense conversations all around us. Some students stared, others nudged their friends and pointed, and a few just stood frozen, trying to process what they were witnessing.

The boys had mixed reactions—some in shock, some in jealousy, and some in admiration.

"Damn it, I want to be reincarnated as him in my next life!"

"This is against the natural order! How can one guy date two at once?!"

"Someone call the police! This man is too dangerous!"

Meanwhile, the girls had their own opinions:

"Wow… that's kind of amazing. I didn't expect Hana-chan to be into something like this."

"Mei-chan too! I thought she'd never settle down with anyone. But now she's sharing?"

"This is either the most romantic thing ever or the most shameless thing ever… and I can't decide which."

But I didn't care about the noise. Right now, I was focused on something far more important.

"I want you two to meet my Aisha," I said, my face lighting up with excitement.

Mei, still walking beside me, narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "Who is this Aisha, and why are you calling this person 'your' like that?"

I felt her sharp gaze drilling into me, as if trying to extract the truth from my soul.

"Kage Ito-kun?" Hana whispered from my other side, her voice soft yet filled with curiosity.

I turned to look at her, and my heart skipped a beat. Her expression was so adorable—her big, brown eyes wide with curiosity, her lips slightly parted.

Before I could answer, Mei's voice cut through. "Hey! Answer me!"

I let out a small chuckle before finally replying, "Aisha is my girlfriend. Just like you two."

The moment those words left my lips, I felt Mei's grip on my hand tighten. Hana also tensed slightly.

"Your… girlfriend?" Mei repeated, her expression unreadable.

"My first girlfriend," I clarified, grinning.

A long silence followed. Mei and Hana exchanged glances before turning back to me.

"You already had a girlfriend, then why did you confess to us?" Mei asked, her voice sharp with suspicion.

"Tell us," Hana added, her eyes searching mine.

I stopped walking and turned to face them properly. My grip on their hands tightened slightly.

"Because I love you two," I said, my voice steady and unwavering. "Do I need any other reason?"

Mei's mind went blank for a second. She stared at me, her face slowly turning red.

He is such a devil, she thought, imagining an aura of flowers blooming around me.

Hana, on the other hand, saw something entirely different.

He is an angel, she thought, also seeing flowers around me, her heart swelling with warmth.

Both girls' faces turned beet red.

Concerned, I instinctively reached out and placed my hands on their foreheads, checking their temperature at the same time.

"You two don't seem to have a fever," I said, my tone filled with genuine worry. "Are you alright?"

The moment my fingers touched their skin, their blush deepened, and their bodies stiffened.

"I-I'm fine," they both stammered in unison, looking away in embarrassment.

Mei's thoughts were in chaos.

What the hell is he? Some kind of Italian gentleman?

Meanwhile, Hana was internally screaming.

Ohh, I love him. What is he? Jesus Christ?!

I let out a small breath of relief. "Really? That's good. I was worried for a second."

"Just tell me about this Aisha person," Mei demanded, her arms crossed now, trying to regain control of the situation. "Who is she, exactly?"

"Let's go to class and talk," I suggested.

Both of them nodded.

We made our way inside the classroom, and as soon as we sat down, with Mei and Hana on either side of me, Mei wasted no time.

"Alright, now tell us," she demanded.

Hana nodded beside me, also eager to hear my explanation.

I leaned back slightly in my seat and smiled.

"Well… Aisha is amazing. Cool. And a great girlfriend. The best in the multiverse. Just like you two."

Both Mei and Hana's hearts skipped a beat at my words.

He called me the best, they thought in unison.

"She's really brave," I continued, my voice filled with admiration. "And she changed my life."

Mei watched me carefully as I spoke. "Sounds like you really love her."

"I do," I admitted without hesitation. "She's my first love."

A soft, warm smile appeared on my lips as I remembered everything Aisha had done for me—the way she had held me, comforted me, and accepted every part of me without hesitation.

But Mei's sharp mind wasn't satisfied yet.

"Does she know you're cheating on her?" Mei asked bluntly.

Hana looked down, fidgeting. "I don't want to hurt this nice person…" she murmured.

I let out a nervous laugh. "Calm down. She knows. And I'm not cheating on anyone."

Mei raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Really."

Hana seemed relieved, but Mei was still skeptical.

"Well, whatever," Mei muttered, shifting in her seat. "Is she in high school?"

"Nope," I said proudly. "She's a nurse."

Silence.

Then—

"Pfft—!"

Mei, who had just taken a sip of water, sprayed it straight at Hana's face.

I had already moved my face in between in time, prioritizing Hana's safety over my own.

Hana sat frozen, blinking through the water dripping from my hair.

I turned to her and gave her a thumbs-up. "You okay?"

Hana blushed and quickly wiped her face with her sleeve. "T-Thank you, Kage Ito-kun…"

Meanwhile, Mei was still in shock.

"A nurse?!" she cried.

"Yes!" I replied enthusiastically, nodding repeatedly.

"Then she's older than you!"

"Yes!"

Mei groaned, rubbing her temples. "I don't even know what to say anymore."

I just grinned. "Well, all that matters is—I love her. And I love you two, too."

At my words, both girls' hearts pounded loudly.

Hana looked down, her voice barely above a whisper. "I love you too… Ito-kun."

The way she said my first name for the first time made my chest tighten with warmth.

I rubbed the back of my neck, grinning like an idiot. "That makes me really happy."

Not wanting to be left behind, Mei suddenly blurted out, "I love you too, Ito-kun!"

Her voice was so loud that the entire class turned to look.

Realizing what she had just done, Mei's face turned bright red, and she quickly buried her head in her arms.

"Sorry!" she squeaked.

I just chuckled and smiled at her.

This was just the beginning of our story.
