The next day, Meadow flew back to her home country.
But as she had said, she began flying only the Paris route. Almost every week, she would arrive in Paris, and each time, she would stand outside my door for an entire night. Yet, I never once opened the door for her.
Later, my life in Paris gradually fell into a routine. I got certified in scuba diving, obtained my pilot's license, and learned hang gliding.
In the summer, I went to the Mississippi River.
In the winter, I visited the Alps.
Even more, by the end of that year, I was selected as the French Airlines' Employee of the Year and became the head flight attendant of Air France in Paris.
During this time, quite a few bold and proactive girls started pursuing me, but I didn't pay attention to any of them.
A heart that's been wounded may heal, but it still bears scars.
For me, my career came first.
