The moon hung high over Redwood Estate, it illuminated silver streaks of light upon the quiet Redwood Estate. The air was still, but despite its tranquil and calm atmosphere, tension still brewed under the surface.
Inside the manor's courtyard, there was a dozen of children that sat in a circle formation, the flickering glow of lanterns casted long shadows across their faces. Min-ah, Han-ju, Chul-woo, Su-yeon, Jin-mu, Ae-rin, and the others had all shared one thing in common with each other tonight, it was determination.
Jin-mu, still bandaging a fresh scrape on his arm, had huffed. "They think we're weak."
Ae-rin rolled her eyes. "Well I mean, compared to actual martial artists, we are weak."
Han-ju crossed his arms. "That is true, as for now. But what about a year from now? Or five?"
Min-ah, who was usually the quiet one, finally decided to speak up. "I don't want us to just survive the next attack. I want to win and finally overcome them."
