"The times are going wild, Crocodile. If your subordinates are just this bunch of small fry, I doubt you'll even survive to meet me again!"

Laughing loudly, Doflamingo's pink feathered coat trembled slightly as he turned and left Crocodile with only a view of his back.

After a brief clash, both sides, wary of each other's strength, tacitly chose not to escalate.

In this sea, unless one side holds an overwhelming advantage, or there's deep-seated hatred or a direct conflict of interest, most battles are nothing more than tests of power.

Last night, after Crocodile left The Logan, the dark night shrouded everything in shadow. In just a matter of seconds, a dozen or so crew members on his ship suddenly drew their blades and swords, attacking the comrades beside them. This bizarre scene caused severe damage to the pirate crew. By the light of the moon, Crocodile could make out the one leading the ambush — that very guy in the pink feathered coat.

 "Fuffuffuffuffuffuf!"

With a string of sinister laughter, Doflamingo quickly left the scene. He didn't even spare a glance at the tense, combat-ready guard squad leader.

Sand swirled around Crocodile. His eyes were dark, and his face was a mixture of rage and ice-cold calm. In the end, he said nothing, simply leading the remaining crew inland.

The crew fell completely silent. Faced with Crocodile in this mood, none dared raise their voice.

The squad leader watched the two infamous pirates of the first half of the Grand Line finally stand down, and he couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

These kinds of people suddenly appearing in Alabasta would cause a massive stir anywhere. Even if the kingdom didn't plan to attack them directly, they couldn't afford not to monitor them.

If these two were to lose control and start fighting… there really weren't many people who could stop them.

Time passed slowly. By midday, a modest-sized ship approached the coast of Nanohana Port.

"We finally made it! Ah, it's been so long since I've seen an island!" Jason exclaimed, staring at the endless coastline ahead.

Compared to the small islands they'd been on before, Alabasta was unimaginably vast.

As the ship gently docked, everyone disembarked one after another.

The civilians on the shore took one glance and, seeing it was just a few ordinary people, paid no further attention. Compared to Crocodile and Doflamingo, who had arrived earlier that morning, Rojen's group didn't attract a single ripple of interest.

"So this is Nanohana, the rapeseed flower city." Rojen said with a smile.

"Sister-in-law, the timing's about right. Let's stay here for a while. After you give birth to Ace, we'll think about relocating again."

"Mm."

Rouge nodded. She, too, was satisfied with the scenery before her.

At this moment, Alabasta was a land of beautiful landscapes — rows of lush trees layered across the terrain, with birds singing and flowers blooming all across the island. Only a small portion was a desolate, uninhabited desert.

"Let's go. We'll head inland to get some daily necessities and find a place to settle down."

Rojen stepped off the shoreline and said to Jason beside him.

"Leave that to me, Captain! I promise I'll handle it perfectly!" Jason grinned mischievously.

The three of them, and a cat moved like the wind, quickly disappearing from the port, leaving The Logan rocking gently with the seawater in their wake.

After a few steps, Rojen's eyes narrowed slightly, and a smile tugged at his lips.

"Jason, looks like you were right. We really might run into Crocodile."

After a glance around, Rojen spotted Crocodile's damaged pirate ship.

"Alabasta's the only nearby island. He had no other choice. Haha," Jason chuckled.

The two didn't give it much thought and continued chatting and laughing as they walked through an alley, entering the city of Nanohana.

As a port city, the crowds here were dense and lively, with street vendors shouting everywhere, making the atmosphere vibrant and bustling. Walking through these streets, smiles naturally appeared on their faces.

It had been a long time since they'd seen such a lively city.

After circling the lively streets for a bit, the three of them picked a restaurant and went inside.

At the same time, not far from them, at the entrance of another street, a young man wearing a white shirt stood with a smile on his face. In a soft voice, he spoke toward his neck.

"The target has appeared in Alabasta, City of Nanohana."

"Copy that. Keep a close watch on him."

"Understood!"

The man in the white shirt responded quietly, then lifted his head again and casually greeted nearby passersby, blending in with practiced ease.

In the blink of an eye, night had already fallen.

Due to the urgency of time, the three of them only found a small inn to rest in temporarily. Since they would soon have to choose a place to settle, Rojen needed to think it over carefully.

They booked a standard room — Rojen and Jason stayed in one room, and in the neighboring room were Rouge and Lordling. That way, if anything happened, a single shout would have them all ready to respond instantly.

Rojen opened the window and looked down.

The inn was on the second floor, and from the window he had a clear view of the crowded streets below.

Nanohana Port truly was densely populated. Even at night, the streets remained busy and full of voices.

"What a lively city,"

Rojen muttered with a sigh.

"Captain, have you thought about where we're going to live? Ahhh, this feels amazing."

Jason had dipped his feet into a basin of hot water and was sighing in pleasure.

"The initial plan is somewhere in the countryside near Alubarna," Rojen said calmly as he pulled up a chair and sat down.

"Alubarna? Isn't that the capital?" Jason asked curiously.

"Yes. Compared to a port city, the capital is less likely to encounter large-scale incidents. It's relatively safer and more peaceful."

"What we need going forward... is peace."

Rojen's eyes were deep and steady as he spoke slowly.

Jason nodded.

"I get it. Rouge is about to give birth — we have to find the safest place possible for her."

"Exactly. That old man only has this one treasure left. No matter what, I've got to help protect her."

A smile appeared on Rojen's face.

"Ssshh... so good!"

Jason, meanwhile, was fully immersed in the pleasure of soaking his feet, a perverted look of comfort spreading across his face.

Meanwhile, deep within the Sabaody Archipelago, in a lavish palace—

"Have you found the target?"

A cold, commanding voice rang out.

"Yes, Master. We've located her!"

The man in a black suit, with a grim expression, answered with great reverence. His body bent humbly, his head lowered almost to the floor.

"Bring her back. Our family cannot bear such disgrace."

"Yes, sir. I'll make arrangements immediately."

The man in black replied swiftly.

"I hear there's a World Criminal by her side?"

The commanding voice suddenly spoke again.

"According to intelligence, that's correct," the black-suited man paused briefly before replying.

"To think… a proud World Noble, a descendant of the Twenty Kings, consorting with a criminal!"

"Disgraceful! Absolutely disgraceful!"

The powerful man erupted in a furious roar.
