134. Help From A Demon

"Wait, Aletris!" in the middle of the hallway Esmund pulls us back. With an aroused tone he whispers, "What is this about? Did something happen?"

"Yes!" in annihilation I let out a giggle, "I remember something!"

Unfortunately, my words seem to engulf Esmund in thicker clouds of doubt. He tilts his head in a blank mind, "Do you care to explain it for me?"

And again I pick up his hand and begin to run down the hallway, "That is why I need you to come with me!" this time we never stop, until we once again arrive at the gramophone room.

After giving the gramophone room a sweep of glance to ensure that it is empty inside, I lock the door behind us and step away from it. I bring Esmund to the window where the clock tower is availed in our sight.

I say, "I was convicted for committing a suicide, for jumping off the clock tower to my death, but… I was not alone up there that day, there was somebody else with me!"
