"Lyla, Yana… alright, enough—stop messing around. She didn't mean it."

Ryan jumped in shock and quickly stepped between the two.

Lyla had already been crying, and after that slap her pouting lips made her look even more pitiful—an appearance that tugged at the heart.

She immediately threw herself into Ryan's embrace, sobbing sweetly, "It's not Yana's fault, she hit me because I deserved it… it's all my fault; otherwise, Brother Ryan wouldn't have gotten hurt."

Yana's eyes were brimming with tears as she added, "I'm sorry, Brother Ryan. Every time I think about you getting hurt, I just can't control myself."

She bit her lip and apologized alongside Lyla before also collapsing into Ryan's other arm.

Through her tearful sobs, Lyla pleaded pitifully, "It's not Yana's fault—it really is my fault; she was just overreacting out of concern…"
