A City Full of Stories

After Lin Tian disappeared from their view everyone looked at each other and nodded and flew ahead preparing for the acceptance ceremony.

After Lin Tian appeared he started strolling through the bustling streets of the Azure Phoenix Kingdom, his hands behind his back, eyes lazily scanning the lively cityscape,

where was the look of a worldly superior he just had, This is his real side, "phew I am finally free from all that it was just like hell from him"

He had arrived here just now, avoiding any responsibilities—his cultivation sealed at the Transcendent Level, blending in as just another traveler. He had no plans, no burdens, and no one to bother him.

But fate always had a way of making things interesting.

As he walked past a crowded square, his sharp ears picked up an announcement from a royal envoy standing on an elevated platform. The crowd murmured with excitement.

"...The Void Horizon Sect has officially declared its doors open to disciples! Their teachings are said to rival the ancient sects, and their elders are peerless experts, standing above the mortal realm! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity…"

Lin Tian raised a brow, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Oh? My sect is getting this much attention already?"

It seemed his subordinates had taken their roles quite seriously, despite their intention to keep the sect 'lowkey.' But rather than feeling annoyed, Lin Tian felt… proud. His sect's reputation was spreading far and wide, making waves across the cultivation world.

"Good, good. I made the right choice leaving everything to them. Now I can continue my peaceful vacation."

With that, he chuckled, shaking his head, and continued his stroll.

The Azure Phoenix Kingdom was a sight to behold. Magnificent floating lanterns lit up the streets, markets bustled with vendors selling exotic wares, and laughter echoed from teahouses where cultivators gathered.

Lin Tian entered a high-end restaurant, lazily slouching in a private booth as he ordered every premium dish on the menu. A mortal waiter hesitated before confirming the order, but Lin Tian simply tossed a spirit stone onto the table.

"Just bring the food. No need for questions."

Minutes later, an extravagant feast filled the table. Lin Tian took his time, savoring every bite.

"This is the life."

As he drank his wine, he overheard a conversation from the table next to him.

"That's right," the other old man replied. "I heard their methods are mysterious and beyond comprehension. Some say their teachings can create peerless cultivators in mere months!"

"Tch, rumors always exaggerate. But I did hear that their sect is led by otherworldly figures—elders with unfathomable strength."

Lin Tian chuckled to himself. They're talking about us, aren't they?

Hearing his sect being praised while he was merely a passerby was an oddly satisfying feeling. He continued walking, taking in the sights while eavesdropping on similar conversations in various corners of the city.

"Some say the Void Horizon Sect was founded by a group of hidden masters who don't wish to meddle in worldly affairs."

"No one knows where their headquarters is. It's as if they only accept those fated to find them."

"I heard one of their members crushed a top sect disciple with a single glance!"

Lin Tian nearly laughed out loud at that last one. The rumors were already getting out of hand. Sealing our cultivation and keeping a low profile, huh? It seems my subordinates are doing a terrible job at staying unnoticed.

Still, he was quite pleased. His sect, which had started as just a fun idea, was now making waves across the cultivation world.

While eating he suddenly remembered about the dog, he asked the system in his mind "Hey system where is my dog "

[Ding! You finally remembered my boss] he heard an aggravated and mad voice

"hey hey don't get mad now"

[Ding! Ok boss your dog is here] Suddenly a back dog appeared next to Lin Tian's leg he was momentarily taken back, you know he was trying to keep a low profile here.

"hey system why did you just incarnate him here."

Lin Tian asked in a slightly angry tone.

[Ding Hey host don't worry they can't see this dog appearing This system is very professional]

"Hey, What do you mean by a dog call him Wang Kai" Saying he looked towards Wang Kai who looked back at him and then turned his head and started eating.

[yes yes]

After eating for a while, Lin Tian left the bustling restaurant behind, wandering toward the quieter countryside. Rolling green fields stretched before him, small villages dotted the landscape, and in the distance, a river shimmered under the afternoon sun.

The road was long, but he enjoyed the journey.

A large black dog named Wang Kai walked beside him, his deep eyes scanning the surroundings with quiet intelligence. Unlike an ordinary stray, Wang Kai moved with a calm and steady presence, as if he had traveled these lands for lifetimes. Lin Tian glanced at him, amused by how dignified the dog looked despite having no master.

Stopping by a small village, Lin Tian sat under a large tree, sipping herbal tea from a roadside stall. Wang Kai lay down nearby, resting his head on his paws but keeping his ears perked, always alert. He listened as villagers gossiped about the cultivation world.

"Did you hear? A lone traveler recently passed through our village. He didn't speak much but left behind a bag of spirit stones at the orphanage."

"Could it be a disciple of the Void Horizon Sect?"

"Maybe. I heard they act in mysterious ways, appearing where they're needed."

Lin Tian took another sip of his tea, amused.

"At this rate, I won't even need to do anything. The world is writing my sect's legend on its own."

Wang Kai flicked his tail but remained still, his sharp gaze following the movements of the villagers.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. No need to get involved. We'll just keep traveling, right?"

Wang Kai remained quiet, giving a slow blink as if agreeing.

With a satisfied sigh, Lin Tian leaned back against the tree and closed his eyes, letting the sounds of the village wash over him.

For now, he had no destination—only the pleasure of wandering, listening to stories, and watching his sect's legend unfold Until The Day of acceptance of disciples arrive.
