Leo expected the thing she was trying to take out to be her rapier.

But to his surprise, Sylvaine took out an envelope and put it in his hands.

Without a word, she left the room in a hurry. The sound of doors slamming behind her snapped him back to reality.

"What was that?"

He glanced towards the hooded figure behind Nyssa and Clint standing in the corner.

The hooded man let go of Leo's companion and took a few steps back.

Loud laughter came from the edge of the office room.

"Sorry for all of this. Even though she is our captain, young Sylv isn't too good at social interactions."

Hearing Clint laugh and explain, defused the situation enough to stop the trio from retiling with an attack, even if they knew defeating one of them was too much at their skill level.

"And why did you stop me?"

Agitated Nyssa asked the man hiding under the hood.

"Her social anxiety is really bad."

He took off his hood. Behind it was the other of the current S-ranks. 

"I'm Ron The Silent Death! Explorer's Guild assassin."

On top of the super over-the-top title, he struck a pose, hiding his face behind a palm with his fingers spread apart, showing only his eyes.

"So lame."

"Yeah, extremely lame."

"This one sucks too, Ron."

The other three people in the room looked with disgust at the Chuunibyou assassin.

"What do you mean?! I spent the whole day thinking about this one."

But there weren't only humans in the room.

"That's such a cool name!"

Gloppy ran up to the sad man which fixed his sour mood. He instantly turned from a defeated pose to a triumphant one, puffing his chest out.

"At least one person here understands my naming genius! I'm going to tell my brother!"

And just like that, he was also gone, leaving the four of them who had entered together, alone once again.

"I don't understand one thing though, Mist... I mean Clint."

While they began a conversation, Leo looked at the envelope he got. Its color confused him, the pink paper didn't match Sylvaine at all.

"If Miss Sylvaine is a socially awkward person, how come she gave such a speech the other day?"

The summoner put as much care as possible into keeping the package intact while opening it. Inside he found a piece of paper with her handwriting. A strong smell of perfumes hit his nose right after.

"She puts on a mask of confidence as our leader."

Leo began to read.

Dear Leo Astralis.

I'm very sorry for my treatment towards you, I appreciate your help a whole lot and hope that the previous mishap won't sour our relationship.

Even though there was not a lot, it made him happy that she wasn't as cold as she had shown to him so far.

As he was about to put the letter back into the envelope, another smaller piece of paper dropped out, with 9 numbers on it and a small green tornado in the corner.

'Some kind of code?'

'I'm surprised you know things about this world Biel.'

Suddenly the messages of the two systems began appearing non-stop, way too fast for him to even comprehend what they were arguing about.

"Leo, anything else you want to say, or should we go?"

Nyssa took his attention back to the conversation with the S-rank in the room.

"There is one more thing I wanted to tell you."

He took out a map of the whole of Japan with a few marked spots, handing it to their senior.

"I trust you to take care of the gates around Japan."

"And why can't you do that yourself?"

Clint looked at the map, there were around 30 different gates, with the closest one to them crossed out already, all across the country.

"We will be pretty busy for the next month. This will take a lot of weight off of our shoulders... and maybe is a way for you to finally use that shooting skills of yours."

Mentioning that, made him very eager to go and do those portals right away, his smirk widened as he fidgeted with a bullet in his hand.

"Thanks, kids, have fun whatever you are going to do then. If you want you can stay here for a few more hours before we close for the day."

As he left, with a hurry in his movement, Nyssa ran towards the fridge in the corner, searching for something inside it.

"What are you searching for? More cake?"

Leo teased her while closing the overbearing amount of message windows from the two systems, which were now silent.

"Come on, I'm not some sort of glutton!"

She took out a Creature energy drink and threw it towards Leo, a warm caring smile on her face as she looked at him.

"I know how tired you are, and I know you won't sleep even if I ask you to. So at least drink this to keep your energy."

He took the drink and chugged it, his ears pink like those of a maiden at how much she paid attention to him.

Gloppy also got his hands on one. Due to his anatomy being nothing like that of a human, it just made him drunk instead of energized.

They packed their things and were getting ready to leave.

"So we are going back to the bus stop?"

The girl asked while they went downstairs into the warehouse.

"No there is a small change of plans, we will go wherever the people outside take us."

That took her by surprise. What people was he talking about and how did he know someone was outside?

But he was right, as they left the building they were stopped by a group of men in black suits, they spoke a weird language he didn't know between each other.

"Oh, they are from America."

Nyssa said, which surprised Leo that she knew that language.

"You understand them?"

"One of my grandparents taught me some basic English when I was younger."

Her skills would certainly help them right now since he didn't know any other language other than Japanese.

"We come here from the Climbers Association of America, and we would like to speak to Leo Astralis."

She kept translating their conversation so Leo and the main agent would understand each other.

"That's me. What does the American Association require from me."

One of the agents took out a big suitcase from the black car behind them. It was visibly very heavy as he struggled to bring it towards him.

With a loud sound, it fell to the ground and shattered the pavement under it. The suitcase opened itself due to the impact, and gray smoke escaped from inside it, what was inside shocked Leo.
