Leo Astralis whispered to himself while traversing through the rubble of the ancient structure. 

His body bore the scars of survival, bite marks that throbbed against the coarse, blood-stiffened fabric of his clothing.

"...I wonder what the world was like."

After humanity failed to complete the Tower almost 700 years ago in time, it exploded, spreading monsters all over the word.

Even the system, which blessed humans with power, had abandoned them. Or did it?

A singular message urged Leo to escape, yet it was short lived as was he was caught like an animal in a trap.

And just like an animal he lashed out until the very end, taking one of the captors to the grave with him.

But as darkness closed in, the system spoke again.

Re-Awakening with the Summoner's Class

Nyssa punched the monster away, sending it flying in the opposite direction before she ran towards the summoner.

"I'm fine! Go help Gloppy, and tell Amelia to support me the entire time."

They needed all hands on deck if Leo planned to succeed.

But now that the monster was struck by her attack, it would be hard to keep its attention only on Leo.

A brilliant idea crossed his mind to buy them more time and prevent them from going after the rest of the party.

He shouted towards the Medusa, grabbing her attention.

"I might have something you might be interested in."

Behind him stood the prince, who seemed to be something the creature wanted.

"Why is it even going after you?"

The summoner asked the Heins. It was unnatural behavior for such a monster to chase someone.

Usually, they only stood in underground labyrinths, sculpting statues in the likeness of their victims.
