AMAYA'S POV
Something did not feel right.
My eyes were glued shut, making it hard for me to open my eyes and to see. I rolled my eyes, desperately trying to open them and at the same time, my lungs and breathing were giving me difficulties. I tried to move my limbs but was met with some type of heaviness. I tried to open my mouth but couldn't.
A wave of anxiety hit me. Was I drowning? Why was air suddenly tight and why was I feeling trapped.
With the little strength in me, I forced my eyes open with a gasp of air. The first thing I noticed was that I was in a hospital room with the sound of a machine beeping in the room. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion before taking my time to look around.
The furniture in the room and design of it made me know this was no ordinary hospital room, even the size of the bed made me know I was in an expensive room. I looked down at my body, scanning it for what might be the reason why I was hospitalised.
