Here is the next chapter:
Chapter 46: The Hidden Server
Maya led Ethan through the winding streets of the city, dodging alleys and side streets to avoid detection. They finally stopped at an nondescript building, a dilapidated warehouse that looked abandoned.
"This is it," Maya said, her eyes scanning the area. "The server is hidden inside."
Ethan nodded, his heart pounding with excitement. They were close.
As they entered the warehouse, Ethan's eyes adjusted to the dim light. The air was thick with dust, and cobwebs hung from the ceiling.
Maya led him to a small room in the back, filled with computer equipment and servers. Ethan's eyes widened as he saw the array of machinery.
"This is it," Maya said, her voice barely above a whisper. "The server that holds all the evidence."
Ethan's fingers flew across the keyboard, his eyes scanning the screens as he worked to access the server.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the server beeped, and a file began to download.
Ethan's heart leapt with excitement. They had done it.
But as they turned to leave, Ethan heard footsteps echoing through the warehouse.
The Syndicate had found them.
To be continued.
