The scythe

The night was long, and they began to open up to each other. Rin was a noble girl who had been banished by his family and sold to the slave traders.

Mike, with an annoyed look on his face, "How can slaves be allowed in this world". Rin looked at him with a confused look. "Slaves had been always allowed, and what do you mean in this world?". "It's nothing, forget what I said". He could not bring himself to tell her about his origin. As the night progressed, Mike knew this place was not ideal. He could only think of his mom but knew he could not do anything. The night was cold; there were no blankets, only haybales. Rin is shivering on the corner. Mike placed his fluffy tail on her to give her a bit of warmth, although he was cold himself. "Thank you," Rin said. With a smile, Mike said, "It's all good, don't worry about it," as they drifted to sleep. Though it was uncomfortable having someone play with his tail, he finally understood why dogs hated it so much

Early in the morning, the knights poured cold water on him, clearly annoyed but could not do anything again. He was dragged out by two men with armour gear and swords; it was clear that they were knights meant to protect the people of the kingdom, but they were corrupt. The knights took him to the next cell and tied him to the wall with his hands and legs spread apart. Toucher was the thing he saw in movies. His blood ran cold thinking about it; he did not want to experience that pain. "Madam, you are here, " one of the knights shouted; he thought this was a chance to convince them to let him go. She was a bit older than him. She was the daughter of a noble—her name Valentin, known for her cruelty and lack of emotions. Mike tried to reason with her, but nothing convinced her. "Strip him," she said with an evil smile. Kenji, the knight's leader, wiped him repeatedly. Valentin watching her knights do the dirty work for her. Mike screamed in pain, but that made her want to watch more.

She was cold and cruel. Mike wished to kill her there and there. Tiers ran down Mike's face as if it was raining, still begging them to stop, but nothing went through.

Rin, in the next cell, could hear everything. She started crying, but I was clear that there was nothing she could do, only sit and listen to the screams that traumatised her. The pain felt like he was being torn apart. He had never experienced this kind of pain before, and he felt like calling his mom for help, but there was nowhere she could just show up to another world to get him.

After what felt like hours of toucher, it finally stopped. And Valentin was bored but still watched for her gain. "Bring the girl". Valentin ordered his knights. "No….. whatever you want to do. Do it to me instead" he did not want her to suffer this pain.

I Don't care what you think," "Go bring the girl". Mike pleaded with them, but nothing changed.

Mike was taken out of the cell and put back into his cell, passing out in pain. But before he drifted, he "Madam Valentin, you got a visitor". Annoyed with this sudden visit, "put her back". As if waiting for this moment, he finally went unconscious. When he woke up, he was surprised to find himself lying on Rin's lap. "U're awake', I'm glad," Rin said with a smile. Surprised to see himself all bandaged up, "Thank you", he said with a smile as well, trying to sit upright, but his wounds did not let him. Water started dripping on his cheek, and he looked up to Rin, crying. "Don't cry. I'm here for you."
