The Mysterious barrier.

"Wait…" suddenly Leon's body shuddered, and he started to look around, before wondering why it was still night. "How long has passed since we entered here?" 

He couldn't understand.

Evolution normally lasted close to twelve hours, and since defeating that monster, he couldn't see the sun rising yet, which confused him.

Not only did he sleep with Asuka twice, but they also slept… before evolving. 

That's quite some time that should have passed!

Asuka's body froze, slowly turning to face him with her mouth opened wide.

"Did they leave without us?!"

[You don't need to worry so much.]

Ifrit's voice echoed in both of their minds.

Thanks to the evolution, Asuka became part of the dungeon system like Zafira, but she was close to an exception and didn't need to obey the rules much like Ifrit herself.

"Eh? There's a voice in my mind… but it's so familiar."
