I will be focusing on this after Egotistic and Last Bastion, as this one (HR) is for WSA so I probably will lock this later (around Q1)
I want to add additional tags for this so skip this info if you're not a fan of "spoilers" from tags. I add 'content warning' that's not too spoiler-y in synopsis though.
Additional content warning
Q : What will you get from the story? (Not much of a spoiler, the last part of this info would be huge spoiler)
A : Regretful seme/gong, traumatized uke/shu, traumatized seme, hate and prejudice, depressing arranged marriage (past relationships), power imbalance (?), miscommunication, misunderstanding, dubious consent, omegaverse, dark romance, healing journey, regression/time travel, both characters are somewhat frustrating even I get a headache when creating them
Q : Is it european setting inspired?
A : YES but it's NOT accurate, you would notice that I used european names but please don't take my writing in terms of socialization and culture as something serious because I write it for the sake of plot, conflict, and drama, the place name I used is purely fictional, the socialization and the conflicts are all fictional, as you can see it's omegaverse so there would be political bs related to this issue thou wouldn't be the main point so don't worry, the main content of this novel is romance drama. For people who loves regretful seme/grovelling seme this would be perfect for you!
Summary:
Silas knew that being born as an omega meant his life wouldn't have many choices—unless you came from a privileged family, where your trait didn't matter and you could live comfortably. When a baron adopted him, Silas saw a glimmer of hope and vowed to repay the man he called father.
However, though it was better than life in the orphanage, Silas knew he would never truly belong to that family. He was groomed to obey, and his adoptive father planned to use him to expand connections with noble families. As he grew older, his father repeatedly offered him in marriage to the son of a grand duke, an alpha, only to be rejected every single time.
Eventually, just before the grand duke's son left for military service, his father received an answer: the grand duke's son agreed to the connection—but only on the condition that Silas would be a consort.
It wasn't uncommon for alphas to have consort, though it wasn't what Silas desired. Still, as an omega, this was the only way he could repay the baron's kindness.

Silas remembered what Alric was like back when they were at the academy. Cold, quiet, and someone who despised omegas. He knew what kind of fate awaited him and gave up on the kind of love he often read about in books. After all, real life wasn't the same as the fantasies penned by writers. Instead, Silas decided to prepare himself for decorating the "cage" he would live in—a life filled with the constant refrain of "at least, at least, at least."
He would get used to it. He had to.
But something felt different. Why was Alric treating him so differently now compared to the way he had back in school? Alric's eyes were filled with a tenderness and sorrow that Silas couldn't understand. It was the kind of look that made Silas want to hold him close.

((Hello! Like many people who enjoy fiction and have countless ideas swirling around in their heads, I've always wanted to create this kind of regretful/groveling seme story. I had the idea a long time ago, but because I kept changing my mind, I decided to put it on hold. At first, I wanted to make it a reincarnation story where they meet in the modern era, but now that I think about it, it feels less heartbreaking somehow. I want the story to have more emotional impact— a bit more pain.
So, after much consideration, I've decided on regression! Yes, regression it is! I quickly outlined the story, thanks to my 'manic' brain.))
Please note: this is a dark romance. If you're uncomfortable with stories that include themes like discrimination and heavy conflict, I advise against reading it. However, if you enjoy tropes where the main lead is consumed by regret + redemption arc, I highly recommend giving this a try! Don't worry—there's no rape in the story. That said, there are moments that might come across as dubious. Honestly, this version is less dark than I initially planned, I got too attached to my OCs and didn't want to be overly cruel to them.
