A disaster takes form

 Hunting had become very difficult since this world had become so hostile to its original inhabitants. The weather brought strange disasters that had never been seen before, there were cruel and strange beasts that seemed to have come out of their worst nightmares, and lastly, there was the contamination of the Abyss. The monsters and people contaminated by the "curse" of the Abyss became irrational and bloodthirsty. The entire Celestial Sea that had once been greatly explored and ruled by the Aqua Tribe was now nothing more than a sea completely contaminated by the curse of the Abyss.

With the help of the priestesses who had at the time used the Earth Relic, the Celestial Sea was prevented from gathering the salty waters of the many underground lakes that existed in these cave systems. This ensured that there would always be a steady source of fish, seafood, and many types of algae to ensure the Tribe's livelihood, there were few crops and fruit trees due to the lack of access to sunlight in the environment.

Natasha, Ivan and everyone else who had just gone through their ceremonies followed the Alpha Lycan to the place where the fisherman announced that the contamination had arrived. When they got there, what they saw really made everyone anxious. There was a huge lobster struggling while lying on its back, it made a strange sound and its claws constantly waved in the air as if it was trying to grab anything that came close. What terrified everyone the most were the black veins that spread throughout its body and the unnatural red color in its eyes.

The Alpha leader of the hunters stood out, advancing towards the creature among the group that was watching it and crushed the contaminated lobster with the sole of his foot. He wore leather armor from various animals, was over 2 meters tall, had long black hair and eyes, a muscular body that stood out even in his human form, and a masculine face covered in stubble. Among the current lycans, he was one of only three who had been born as one, which was also a sign of a descendant of a powerful lineage. As soon as he crushed the creature, he turned to the crowd and spoke loudly and with determination:

"Calm down, we still don't know the extent of the contamination and we have a few weeks of food stored. If the worst happens, I myself will lead our people on a new migration…"

The people who were worried soon calmed down with the strong and confident words of the Alpha, but at the same time someone shouted that the High Priestess had arrived, and everyone turned to the entrance of the cave where there was a beautiful woman of about 25 years old accompanied by an older priestess and two human men dressed in armor, shields and swords. The woman was white and was 1.67 meters tall, she wore a blue cloak full of coral and shell ornaments, even the cloak could not hide her voluminous and curvy body, her hair was blue and long almost dragging the ground, her eyes were also blue and she had a tiara on her head that easily resembled a crown, it was studded with sapphires and turquoises. As soon as the High Priestess arrived at the place, it was also possible to feel a change in the humidity of the cave, almost as if a fog would form at any moment.

Natasha watched the High Priestess feeling a little inferior due to the woman's great beauty. She had heard that women would also become more beautiful after becoming priestesses, but just like anyone else who had just undergone the transformation into a Lycan, Natasha still couldn't realize that many eyes were already looking at her with immense desire and lust. She was very beautiful before, and the transformation into a Lycan made her even more beautiful than she already was, and she was the only one who hadn't noticed these changes at the moment.

But as Natasha thought about how beautiful the High Priestess was, she shook her head and cleared her mind when she realized that all of her Tribe leader's subordinates were by her side. This meant that there shouldn't be anyone in the temple near the sacred Relic. She should take the opportunity to take a closer look. She was still a virgin and met the requirements to become a priestess. If she could figure out how the magic ritual worked, couldn't she change her own destiny?

While taking advantage of everyone's attention being on the Tribe leader, Natasha slowly slipped through the crowd and escaped through the tunnel where the High Priestess had come from, but of course there was someone who hadn't taken his eyes off her the whole time, and that was Ivan. When he thought about following her, a voice that was sweet and authoritative reached his ears:

"You speak of migration as if you were the one making such important decisions, Borys…"

Borys, who was only called by his name by the Tribe leader, bowed slowly as he said:

"I had no such intention, High Priestess, I only wanted to calm our people until your arrival."

As everyone followed Borys' gesture of bowing to greet the arrival of their leader, the High Priestess observed the red and black blood that dripped from the crushed lobster and began to whisper orders:

"Fishermen and priestesses, begin the large-scale collection of all resources that can still be consumed from this lake and all those connected to it, leave nothing behind, neither young, nor roe, nor algae."

"Builders and hunters, begin blocking the existing lakes that are connected to this one, and also assist the fishermen in observing if there are signs of more contaminated lakes."

"As for the rest, help in the process of preserving these foods. In a few days I will make a statement about what our Aqua Tribe will do. Until then, I don't want you spreading incorrect rumors about this small contamination. Anyone caught doing this will suffer serious consequences."

Everyone bowed once more and shouted "Yes, High Priestess" and went to fulfill their tasks. The woman then left the eldest priestess and one of her guards to supervise everything and returned the same way, heading back to her temple accompanied only by a single guard…

In the temple where the High Priestess lived, Natasha saw a side room where the Water Relic was kept. The room was open and she was only 10 steps away from the sacred item as she watched with a huge smile on her face. It was time for her to change her destiny…
