Book 1: The City on a Hill

On a dark and stormy night, Onu glances out the window, into the rain. He sees a mysterious figure watching him from across the street. Lightning cracks against the open sky and the figure disappears. Is he just paranoid, or was someone watching him?



Recent arrival Onu has spent the last few months trekking from his home in the South to his new position in the North. Selected as the cultural liaison, he serves as the last hope of connection between these two regions, and these two regions are humanity's last societies. In the North, nothing is what it seems. Onu, however, has a few secrets of his own.
