King Lumine's eyes widen "8 years ago we lost those 2 to an attack by the Reapers"

The room is completely silent all 7 members in the room remember clearly that day when news came that TwinFang Village, a neutral village founded by Lady Draconian and Sir Wolfgang, was attacked, they remember clearly leaving the capital full of hope to support the village and their old friends and comrades, they remember the scenery upon their arrival that shattered that same hope and replaced it with dread misery sorrow anger and more. More than that these 7 men and women remember the moment they painfully had to standby and let a family be torn apart for their own safety that family being Blaze, Hunter and Sky.
These 7 were among only 25 outside of that village that knew of Blaze's birth, of them only 15 remained. Besides the 7 of them the others that knew naturally included the current heads of both the Draconian and the Wolfgang Clans, then there naturally the queen and the duchess, and finally from the forest of monarchs there was the elder twin ancient drakons, the Elder Fenrir Lord, and the Phoenix Queen. Of the 10 deceased, Zen and Val's childhood friends serving as shadow guards for their children were included.
"Zen and Val have been gone 8 years, their children separated and raised apart from each other as they wished but now all 3 are united so wouldn't now be time to finally give them a proper send off" Duke von Lutz says finally breaking the silence.
"Agreed, but should we reveal that those 3 are their children, very few of us even knew about the youngest as for the twins their birth was no secret but even then they were born in that village I'm sure most haven't figured it out" Mika states
Both Claire and Yui however don't agree "are you crazy not only do you want to announce to the kingdom that Lady Draconian and Sir Wolfgang are dead but that we kept that secret for 8 year?!" Claire shouts.
"On top of that you want to announce their kids to the world and out targets on their backs?" Yui chimes in
Kaito who've remained silent until now chimed in.
"What the public thinks doesn't matter" Kaito says. "We got to say goodbye but what about Hunter and Sky, what about Lycan sorry I mean Blaze? None of them got to do it"
"Besides I doubt we have to worry about Blaze too much especially from what we say earlier tonight" Kaito adds
"What are you talking about?" Yui asks "sure he's strong but he's a kid"
Both Clair and Yui are confused whereas Kaito seems to know something they don't meanwhile Leon and Mika don't seem to be surprised by the outburst.
"Earlier tonight he completely obliterated a reaper grants it was a grunt, he also practically forced another to pass a message along and he exerted enough pressure to make that reaper pass out too" Duke Von Lutz explains.
"That doesn't surprise me, the last few years he's been taken jobs at the guild" Mika explains.
"And I've kept eyes on him, along with the CinderFlame brothers the three of them are no pushovers always getting in and out trouble and always the first ones to volunteer for guard duty in that village" Leon adds
Claire mouth drops "you let him join the guild he not even 13 yet, on top of that what if someone figured out who he was did you even stop to think about that" she scolds Mika.
"What you think I just let him join without asking or without eyes being kept on his don't forget those elders were in charge of him they allowed it and they made sure he had shadow guards on him, besides he can take care of himself or did you suddenly forget his unique situations with magic" Mika retorts.
Claire can't even argue knowing that beside 'traditional' magic that Blaze also wields spirit arts, beast arts and draconic arts "sighs, fine but still I don't see how this is even a decision to make"
King Lumine finally speaks up "maybe, maybe not, but aren't we asking the wrong questions? We shouldn't be asking if it's time or if it's our decision we should be asking the boys what they want this is their decision to make."
The others all nods after mulling it over.
"Before we take this to them I think we should discuss a few more things" Kaito says before continuing. "There a lot to consider how much do we reveal do we reveal Blaze's bloodline? Do we tell the twins the truth about their births? There's a lot of secrets that Zen and Val had planned on telling them when they got older I feel like that falls on us now as the surviving members of FTTF!".
"Right now I think it's best we pick and choose what we reveal we'll explain their bloodlines but anything beyond that we'll tell them when the time is right" King Lumine says "sighs… as for the twin only if that's what they want, and for the rest none of that is our place I'm confident that Zen made arrangements as far as Blaze is concerned, he had me hold onto something so I'm sure of it."

In a forest village somewhere on the central continent gathered in a large room is FTTF not just the original party member but the clan itself, the reason the birth of Lycan, the youngest son of Zenith Wolfgang and Valkyrie
Draconian, a birth kept secret outside this villages.
"Hard to believe this little guy might have inherited the magic of the monarchs of old" a white Dragonborn says.
"You sound almost jealous Kaito" a man with blond hair and green eyes replies.
"Not at all your majesty, just awestruck" Kaito replies
"Same, and we're not in the Royal Capital let alone the Lumine Kingdom, we're friends August is fine" King August Lumine replies back
"Still it's hard to believe that one child might have inherited the blood and authority of a monarch let alone two of them" August says quietly
The party gathered in the room stares at a small child, just barely a week old, his eyes heterochromia silver and amber, one moment human the next moment one resembling a wolf, the other resemblance of a dragon and then back to human again.
"Not gonna lie that was a bit unnerving" a woman with short pink hair states.
"You'll get used to it Lena, as his shadow you'll have to" Zen says as he walks in to the door, behind him in the doorway stands 2 cloaked figured their presence erased.
As one of the men approached Blaze, Val gets to the point and asks "is it like we thought?"
The man closes his eyes and concentrates reaching out trying to probe the child's inner realm only to be blasted across the room 'cough' , 'cough' as he brushes the dust and dirt off of him and regains his composure he nods removing his hood revealing the the face of an ancient demon "Yes, the Monarchs authority and the unique Domain exists, not only that I clearly felt both Aurura's and Borealis' presence in the realm".
The room is silent filled with confused looks.
"Ah forgive me I forget at times that todays world has limited information about us Monarchs. Monarchs Authority we all had it but very few of us even called it that, Aurora and Borealis both hated the name, if I recall correctly Aurura called it Drakon's call and Borealis calls it Wolf's Bane."
"In their cases all Drakons and all Wolves submitted to them, I don't know who this little one will wield their authority it depends on the individual he crafts the authority's ability himself we all did" the man continues
"And you Lord Reaver?" Val asks without looking up from feeding Blaze.
"As I got older I referred to it as my authority but I also had my own name for it too, in my youth as the Demon Emperor I constantly referred to it as Emperor's Law" Reaver shrugs "all of us Monarch's were young and arrogant, if it wasn't for our friends death we probably never would've joined together and todays world wouldn't even exist".
"I don't remember one of the 12 monarchs dying before the Great War I distinctly remember history say all 12 fought against the nether realm forces and that all but 4 fell in the end" King Lumine stares.
"History isn't always accurate" Reaver's tone softens his voice full of sorrow as he talks about the past "There were 13 of us, Aerrow was the 13th he was the youngest he was the weakest yet he was the strongest of us… and our stubborness cost Aerrow his life, he saw what was on the Horizon insisted time and again that the only way the world had a future is if we joined together but for whatever reason be it pride arrogance or whatever, we declined and he went off on his own, it was Aurora and Borealis that after a few weeks went searching and found his body, he fell fighting just to buy time."
Lord Reaver smashes his fist against the wall "We all lost something that day, we lost the one person who when things got bad everyone could rely on and we lost a friend, but Aurura and Borealis lost more they lost their little brother their best friend and more, those 3 were as close as can be and with his death they couldn't look at each other anymore, they went from being an item to blaming each other for their little brother's death, we all blamed each other and ourselves our stubborness our pride our arrogance, we knew his personality we should've saw it coming should've know he would go off on his own to try and buy time"
"We ignored his abilities and caused his death" Reaver wipes his eyes of tears "sometimes I wonder if he went off knowing what his death would do, he was never one to just act without a reason, wasn't one to just throw his life away, his eyes if we had just trusted his eyes"

"You know when I look at this little one I see all three of them, it's as if Aurora, Borealis and Aerrow are here" Reaver chuckles his mood changing "in the end Aurora's and Borealis' bloodlines did combine after all might not have been the way we expected back then but it's a nice sight, one that I wish the others could witness in person".
"What do you mean by that you make it sounds as if the other monarches witnessed it even though they're either dead or not present" Zenith asks.
"Cause they did, Monarchs Domain even in death we exist there, it's a space that defies reality and the natural order, and a monarchs power is absolute inside it, as one who inherited the power of a monarch, the others exist within Lycan, we 13 had predecessors of our own and when we die we take our predecessors place in the domain" Reaver explains.
"Though the other bloodlines have died out, the Spirit Monarch can't reproduce only pass their power on, and I'm in a similar boat my power isn't bloodline based I have to choose my successor" Reaver explains and looks to the other cloaked man "at one point I would've chosen you but I saw the darkness in your wife it was inevitable that she would ursurp the throne, the Grimoire Empire will go from being a powerful ally to all to a powerful threat now that she's the Empress"
The cloaked man, the former emperor of the Grimoire Empire, nods "I'm more concerned about the boy, my wife is no fool she knows Zen and Val are the biggest threats to her ambitions, if she ever learns about the boys she'll come for them all"
