After reuniting with Vaishnavi and Sachin in Vrindavan, Arya invites them to join his quest toward Kashi, the holy city. The journey is marked by treacherous terrain, monstrous threats, and the weight of their shared mission. Along the way, Arya's strength and leadership inspire the siblings, while Vaishnavi's compassion and medical skills save countless lives.
As the group travels closer to Kashi, they come across a village ravaged by disease and under attack by monstrous beings—twisted creatures born of corrupted energy. The villagers are weak and defenseless, succumbing to illness and fear.
Sachin and Arya lead the charge against the monsters, their combined strength and strategies slowly turning the tide of battle. Vaishnavi works tirelessly amidst the chaos, treating the injured and calming the frightened villagers.
At one critical moment, a monstrous beast targets Vaishnavi while she is helping a wounded child. Arya notices and rushes to her aid, slashing through the beast with his sword. The two fight side by side, protecting the villagers and defeating the remaining creatures.
After the battle, the group sets up camp outside the village. Exhausted yet relieved, they sit around a small fire, sharing food and recounting the day's events. As Sachin drifts off to sleep, Vaishnavi and Arya find themselves alone beneath the starlit sky.
Vaishnavi: "Thank you, Arya... for saving me today. I thought... I thought I wouldn't make it."
Arya: (smiling softly) "You don't have to thank me, Vaishnavi. You've saved so many lives with your skills. Protecting you... it's the least I can do."
Vaishnavi looks at Arya, her eyes reflecting the firelight and the unspoken emotions she's carried for some time.
Vaishnavi: "I've always admired your strength, Arya. Not just in battle... but in your purpose. You make me feel... safe."
Arya is momentarily caught off guard by her vulnerability. He looks at her, seeing her not just as a healer but as someone who has endured hardships with grace and resilience.
Arya: "You have a strength of your own, Vaishnavi. A kind of strength I've never had—the ability to heal and bring hope. I admire that about you."
The warmth of their exchange lingers in the air. Vaishnavi hesitates for a moment before stepping closer to Arya, her voice barely a whisper.
Vaishnavi: "Arya... I don't know what the future holds, but... in this moment, I want to be honest with my heart."
Before Arya can respond, Vaishnavi gently presses her lips to his—a soft, tender kiss under the vast expanse of stars. Arya, initially surprised, slowly reciprocates, his hand lightly resting on her shoulder. The kiss is brief but filled with unspoken promises and emotions.
As they part, Vaishnavi looks away, blushing.
Vaishnavi: "I... I'm sorry if that was too forward."
Arya: (smiling gently) "Don't apologize. It was... honest. And I'll always treasure your honesty."
The moment strengthens their bond, adding depth to their relationship as they continue their journey to Kashi—where more trials and revelations await.
As they rest that night, Arya reflects on the kiss and the growing connection between them. Yet, he also feels the weight of his mission and the complexity of his path. For now, though, under the starlit sky, he allows himself to cherish the fleeting peace of the moment.
As the group approaches Kashi, they hear whispers of the Dark Forest, a place veiled in mystery and fear. Local villagers share tales of its vibrant, otherworldly beauty but warn of the danger within. The forest is devoid of pure energy, corrupted by the presence of a Black Dragon tainted by a fragment of Kali's power. This fragment is spreading disease and despair across the region.
Determined to purify the forest and retrieve the fragment, Arya decides to enter the Dark Forest, accompanied by Vaishnavi and Sachin.
The Dark Forest lives up to its reputation—its trees glow with unnatural hues of red, blue, and violet, creating a surreal yet foreboding atmosphere. The air feels thick and oppressive, and energy channels are distorted, making it difficult for Arya and Sachin to channel their powers effectively.
As they venture deeper, they encounter signs of the dragon's corruption: twisted, dying plants and pools of black ichor. Vaishnavi feels the weight of the sickness spreading through the forest and is determined to find a cure.
At the heart of the forest, they discover the Black Dragon's lair, a cavern encrusted with black crystals pulsating with malevolent energy. The dragon emerges, its obsidian scales shimmering with an unholy light. Its eyes glow a menacing red, and the fragment of Kali embedded in its chest pulses with dark power.
The dragon's roar shakes the cavern, signaling the start of an intense battle.
Sachin attempts to assist Arya with his arrows, but the dragon's sheer size and power make it impossible to get close. Arya takes the lead, engaging the beast in a fierce one-on-one battle.
Arya channels his newly acquired powers from the Zeniths and launches devastating sword strikes, but the dragon's scales prove nearly impenetrable.
The dragon counters with blasts of dark fire and energy waves. Arya uses his agility and All-Seeing Eyes to anticipate its movements but is still grazed by its attacks.
Sachin creates a diversion with explosive arrows, allowing Arya to land a critical blow on the fragment embedded in the dragon's chest.
In a climactic moment, Arya summons the strength of his Virtue powers, striking with a light-infused attack that shatters the fragment and purifies the dragon.
As the fragment disintegrates, the dragon collapses, its corrupted form fading away. The forest begins to heal, but the battle leaves Arya gravely injured.
Vaishnavi rushes to Arya's side as he collapses from exhaustion and his wounds. She tears pieces of her clothing to bandage his injuries and uses her medical skills to stabilize him.
Vaishnavi: (teary-eyed) "You always push yourself too far, Arya. Do you ever think about what it would mean if you... didn't come back?"
Arya: (weakly smiling) "If it means protecting everyone, especially you... it's worth it."
Vaishnavi: (blushing but firm) "Don't say such foolish things. You're not allowed to leave me. Ever."
As she applies healing ointments, her hands tremble with worry. Arya, despite his pain, reaches up to hold her hand.
Arya: (softly) "Thank you... Vaishnavi. For always being here."
In the quiet aftermath of the battle, the tension between them gives way to a tender moment. Vaishnavi leans closer, her emotions overwhelming her. She places a gentle kiss on Arya's forehead, a silent promise to protect him as he does for her.
After resting and recovering, the group leaves the Dark Forest behind, now restored to its natural beauty. The villagers, sensing the change, express their gratitude to Arya and his companions.
As they continue their journey toward Kashi, the bond between Arya and Vaishnavi grows deeper, while Sachin silently supports them, knowing the challenges ahead will only get more intense. The battle with the dragon serves as a stark reminder of the sacrifices required to tread the path of destiny.
