Kael's words sent a chill down Lyra's spine. Controlled? By who?
Arianna's body began to glow brighter, and Lyra could see a dark energy coursing through her veins.
"We have to get out of here," Kael said, grabbing Lyra's arm. "Now."
But Lyra hesitated. She wanted to know who was controlling Arianna.
"Wait," Lyra said, pulling her arm free. "I want to know who's doing this."
Kael's eyes narrowed. "Lyra, we don't have time for this."
But Lyra stood firm. She focused her mind and reached out with her powers, trying to sense who was controlling Arianna.
As she did, she felt a presence in her mind. A dark, malevolent presence.
Lyra gasped, her eyes widening in shock. "It's a woman," Lyra said. "A woman with incredible power."
Kael's face darkened. "Who is it?" he growled.
Lyra's eyes locked onto Kael's. "I don't know," Lyra said. "But I think she's the one who's been pulling the strings all along."
Kael's eyes narrowed. "We'll find out who she is," Kael said. "And we'll stop her."
But as they turned to leave, Lyra felt a voice in her mind. A voice that sent shivers down her spine.
"You'll never stop me," the voice said. "I am the one who will bring darkness to this world."
And with that, everything went black.
