"Remind me again why I'm only talking to you and not the rest of your colleagues," Lucas said as we stepped into my office.

 

"Well that doesn't really matter now does it," I replied with my eyes focused on the photos he had passed out earlier.

 

"I need to know." He growled, a small glow festering in his eyes, I looked at him and a chuckle escaped my lips.

 

"What are you doing," I asked, mockery filling my tone as I spoke.

 

"Regardless of who's in the seat and whose standing, I don't want you to forget that I could rip off your head with just a thought," Lucas warned, hearing his words, I snickered and then burst into bitter laughter.

 

"Quiet the contrary, You're a pathetic piece of garbage with an inflated sense of importance." I reminded with an amused splayed across my smile, I could see the rage in his eyes, the hue deepening as he stepped forward.
