AUTHORS POV~
Flickering white lights, the thick overwhelming smell of chemicals, and Beeping mechanic sounds from the various computers that were displayed throughout the wide space. Never had Luther seen a man so focused, 6 days, Jacob had spent six days in the confines of this room, with no contact with the outside world, no distractions, Just he and his work.
Luther walked into the room to get a closer look at Jacob who was at the very edge of the room mixing God knows what.
"What?" Jacob finally asked annoyed by Luther's meaningless gaze.
"You work hard." Luther complimented as he leaned against the wall, Jacob didn't pay him any attention as he kept his eyes fixed on the work he was doing.
"If you're doing something then doing it well should be the only option." He replied after an awkward silence, Luther nodded now having even more respect for his work ethic.
"It rarely is."
