Logan instantly rejected my claim.
"You're not fooling me. What were you trying to say earlier?"
"It doesn't matter though. I can show you that I'm telling the truth."
I spoke with conviction, attempting to convey my honesty.
It seemed my earnestness had some effect on Logan. This time, he didn't outright dismiss me.
Instead, he gazed at me pensively and asked softly, "How can you demonstrate that?"
Thankfully, Logan wasn't completely unreasonable.
He was open to letting me prove my point.
Based on my recollections from my past life, I was aware that Cynthia had recently lost her baby. At this moment, she was in the hospital with Logan's sibling.
So, I promptly informed Logan, "She's currently at Central Hospital. If you're willing to accompany me there, everything will become clear."
My voice and gaze were unwavering, showing no signs of deceit.
