Past life: recollection 17

Hey guys I am so so sorry. I know that I have not been punctual on my upload but I something happened to me last week. I was literally..... Like seriously sick. I had to go to the hospital. It was serious. Right now, I am still not well but at least I can still write a little bit. I am so sorry guys. Please forgive me.

I did not know what to do. That night I cried myself to sleep. When I woke up the next day, I heard a knock on my door.

"Who is it?" I said with a hoarse voice. I was grumpy because that knock woke me up from my dreamless sleep.

The person outside the door kept knocking and oh my goodness I hate that sound. I kept on asking who the person was but the person did not say anything in reply. I decided to get up from my bed, walk to the door, open the door and shout at the person outside.

Then I got out of the bed, 'oh that person is going get it from me' I said quietly while grumbling. Then I opened the door.

"You..... Oh.... Hey..... I did not know that you were the one knocking". I was so shocked. The person knocking was Ben. I looked dumbfounded. 'What is he doing here?' I definitely didn't understand why he was here.

"Hello...." Ben said while waving his hand at my face. "Is there something wrong with my face?" He asked. And that was when I snapped out of it.

"Oh... Sorry..... I was thinking about today". I said to him.

He looked at me and said "Why are you thinking of today?" I did not answer his question. And after a short and awkward silence, Ben said to me "Is there something you need or want today before we go out of the base to scavenge?"

Then this time I was completely shocked.

"Wait.... What..... What do you mean scavenge?"

As soon as I said those words Ben looked at me confused.

"Aren't you following us today. Have you changed your mind?"

"No....no what are you saying. I did not know that it was today that we were going out. I..... I was just shocked..... Ok?" I said while stammering. I did not know that I could stammer.

Then after a while, I remembered that we were outside so I told Ben to come in. I closed the door after we went inside the room and I decided to go freshen up. When I got inside , I rushed to the bathroom and had my bath. I wore a black t-shirt with long sleeves and black cargo pants. I got out and saw Ben putting food on a plate. I went to Ben and sat down on a chair.

"Here, I made this for you". Ben said while gesturing at the food on the plate.

I looked at him and smiled

"Thank you.... But what about you.... aren't you going to eat?" I asked him. And then he smiled. Oh my goodness I love his smile. He looked more handsome than ever when he smiled.

"I have already eaten.... You don't have to worry". Then he went closer to me and put his hand on my head. Then he ruffled my hair. I didn't care even though I knew that my hair would look like a bird's nest. I just wanted that warm feelings. After a while he left my side and the warm feeling faded. I felt sad but I decided to eat quickly and go out with him. It would be like a couple date.

Then I ate quickly. After I ate my food, I left the room with Ben. I locked the door and followed Ben. I was so happy thinking of us being alone together. I started daydreaming about me almost getting killed by a zombie and Ben saving me like my knight in shining armor. I started to smile foolishly when I heard

"Oliver...."

Oh ho..... I forgot about Oliver.

What do you guys think of Wendy and her daydream? And oh I just feel like removing Oliver from following them. He is such a very bright lightbulb and oh.... So sorry he is also a jealous third party.
