"I seriously doubt there's a mother out there who would send her daughter off with two mercenaries and trust them completely," V sneered.
"The mother and daughter are being way too deliberate about this."
Seeing how perceptive V was, Alex Carter couldn't help but admire a woman's intuition.

"Stay put for now. Try to find out more about him and his abilities. Remember—don't push too hard. Your safety comes first. If anything happens, contact the extraction team—they're on standby at the neighboring villa."
