Leon awoke slowly, his eyes fluttering open. Groaning, he pushed himself up, disoriented. He was in a cave, the air thick and damp. Pushing himself to his feet, he stumbled towards the entrance, curiosity piquing his interest.
The sight that met him was breathtaking. Lush greenery stretched as far as the eye could see, sunlight filtering through the canopy of ancient trees. A majestic waterfall cascaded down a rocky cliff face, its roar echoing through the forest. The air was alive with the sounds of unseen creatures – the chirping of insects, the calls of unseen birds, the gentle rustle of leaves. This was a world of vibrant life, unlike anything he had ever known.
He took a deep breath, the crisp air filling his lungs. This was it. The new world. A thrill coursed through him, a mixture of excitement and apprehension.
"Sel," he called out, his voice a whisper, "what is this world? What do you know about it?"
[Host, this world's name is Avergard. It is twice the size of your former world, comprised of five continents: Eastern, Western, Southern, Northern, and Central.]
[We are currently on the Central Continent, the largest of them all. This continent is home to three powerful empires and five kingdoms.]
[The first empire is the Evelyn Empire, ruled by the elegant and enigmatic elves. The second is the Asgard Empire, a realm dominated by humans. And finally, the most powerful of them all, the Dragoln Empire, ruled by the dragons themselves. Unlike the other empires, the Dragoln Empire is a melting pot of races, with humans, Dami humans, and dark elves living in relative harmony. While the other empires do not actively persecute other races, the elves prefer isolation within their forested empire, which circles the legendary World Tree, Yggdrasil.
[Humans, though more sociable than the elves, still harbor prejudices. Some of the human nobility view the Dami humans as lesser beings, despite the Emperor's decrees of racial equality. This disdain often drives the Dami humans to seek refuge in the more tolerant Dragoln Empire.]
[The five kingdoms are divided between the Asgard and Dragoln Empires, with three belonging to the dragons and two to the humans.]
"Sel," Leon pondered, "where should we begin our journey? Should we head towards the Dragoln Empire?"
[Host! There's no need to travel far. We are quite close to the Human Empire city, Almer County, and you can utilize the new skills you acquired as a reward for completing the mission.]
"Right! I almost forgot about the reward. What did I receive?"
[Ding!]
[Host! Has completed the mission: Create Character.]
[Calculating the reward...]

"Wow! I've been gifted a formidable arsenal of skills. This will make hunting much easier, and I can level up while exploring this forest."
[Host, would you like to check your status?]
[Yes/No]
"Yes, I should review my current standing."
Status:-
"Impressive. I possess a wide array of unique skills, but what exactly are these DP points?" Leon inquired.
[Host! DP stands for Dragon Points. You can allocate these points to enhance your various stats, increasing your overall strength.]
"And what is the system shop? I understand the inventory, but what is the system shop?"
[Host! As you progress and gain levels, you will acquire system currency, which can be used to purchase items from the system shop, such as weapons, potions, and other valuable goods.]
"I see."
Leon spent some time familiarizing himself with the system and its functions. Then, he decided to venture forth, hunting monsters within the forest while gradually making his way towards the city. Before embarking, he activated his Shapeshifting skill, his body subtly morphing, his scales receding beneath his skin, his claws retracting. He now appeared as a young man, lean and wiry, with eyes the color of amethyst.
He delved deeper into the forest, his senses alert. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and pine needles. He moved with a silent grace, his footsteps barely disturbing the fallen leaves. Soon, he spotted a group of 15 goblins, their crude weapons glinting menacingly in the dappled sunlight. They were crude creatures, their faces contorted in snarls, their eyes filled with a brutish hunger.
Since he lacked any conventional weapons, he decided to utilize his Martial Arts skills. With a silent growl, he launched himself into the fray. A blur of motion, he swiftly dispatched the goblins, his movements a deadly dance of calculated strikes and evasive maneuvers. Each goblin fell with a sickening thud, their lives snuffed out in an instant. Notifications flooded his mind, but he quickly instructed Sel to suppress them.
After eliminating the goblins, he checked his notifications.
[Ding!]
[Host has earned 500 exp for killing a goblin.]

[Host! Has leveled up. You have gained 5 DP and 200 SP.]
"Three levels in a single encounter. I don't seem to gain DP or SP from killing monsters directly, only from leveling up. Interesting."
Status:-
"So, leveling up directly enhances my stats. With three levels, I've gained 15 points in each stat. Let's see how this feels." Leon allocated 3 points to each stat, increasing his Strength to 245, Health to 235, Agility to 225, Vitality to 225, and Intelligence to 215.
With his newfound strength surging through him, Leon continued his journey through the forest, his senses heightened, his anticipation growing. He was no longer just a young man lost in a strange new world. He was Leon, a dragon in human form, ready to carve his own path in this vast and mysterious land.
