Freya Fights Back

Freya Aleshinloye

"Easy woman!" Faro catches her by the waist and leads her out of the room. Her peripheral vision takes note of her surroundings as he leads her to the restroom which is located next to her temporary prison. "Be fast about your business please."

"Thank you." She murmurs again as she looks around the tiny restroom. He didn't allow her to close the door but stand in the doorway, backing her. She turns on the tap in the sink and leaves it running as she relieves herself. There is no object to use as a weapon. The room is lit and there is a window high up in the way. There is nothing available for her to use except her wit and this is the only opportunity she is going to get.

Taking a deep breath, she rises to the ball of her feet and moves noiselessly towards Faro. A few feet from him, she wraps her right arm around his neck while wrapping her right leg around his left leg, throwing him off balance and eliciting a surprising gasp from his parted lips. He is taller and bigger than she was but he isn't expecting her moves. He kicks back but misses as she bends her knees slightly and clasp her other hand to the first one, raising his chin to an uncomfortable position.

"What the hell are you…?" His voice cut off as her fingers located the carotid artery located on both sides of his neck and cut off the blood flow to his brain. He struggles feebly, almost throwing her off balance a few times before he goes limp beneath her finger and his weight nearly drives her down.

Bastard. She didn't have black belt for nothing. For all the training she began with in her life, she had her father to thank for them. She lays him on the floor, and drags him to the foot of the staircase. She runs to pick the metal cuff in the basement room and comes back to cuff him to the bottom of the staircase, then she removes the bunch of keys and attaches it to the belt loop on her pants trousers. She searches his body for any kind of weapon but only finds the knife in his boot. That will do. It is better than not having any weapon at all. She folds it and puts it in her back pocket. She places a finger on his neck, notes the beating pulse and straightens up.

Her heart hammer in her ribcage and adrenaline is pumping in gallons into her bloodstream as she climbs the staircase, a step at a time, looking around furtively. Everywhere is too quiet. It is a matter of time before Jamal realises something is wrong and comes around to find out. The basement is actually underground. She realises as she steps on the landing and looks around the sparsely decorated room. She will be dead before she goes back to that dreadful room.

As she turns around the corner, she comes face to face with the muzzle of a gun!

Jamal Benson

"Step back and lift your hands into the air where I can see them." Jamal's deep voice is cold as he trains the gun on her. She obeys without complaint but he isn't fool by her meekness. Afterall, she just took Faro down, effortlessly. She floors him with her prowess.

Faro has been gone for too long. His first instinct is that he is raping the innocent girl because he has seen the lust in his eyes. The mere thought that he will dare lay his hand on Freya Aleshinloye fills him with so much rage that he stops eating and takes deep gulps of air to calm himself down. She is not his girl. He is not interested in her in any way. It is just that he hates to hurt people mindlessly. If he wants a girl, they both agree to his terms and condition before anything happens between them. Most of them are usually after the money, so it is easy to have any of them and discard as soon as he gets tired.

He clears up his plate and comes out to the sitting room. Everywhere is too quiet. Something is wrong. When Faro has sex, the woman will definitely be in pain. As he took the first step down the staircase, he saw her run into the room where she had been kept and absolute shock froze him in place for several minutes. Wow! How did she get Faro to free her from the cuffs? She then proceeds to render him unconscious. For some reason, the whole incident is amusing and he wishes he can have a good laugh.

"You want to shoot me now?" Her voice is quiet as she stares at him.

'I should. What did you do to him? Is he dead?" His gun hand didn't waver.

"No, he is not. He deserves to be dead though. He is such a bastard." Her eyes didn't waver from the gun. "He will come around soon."

"What did he do to you?" His eyes narrow in suspicion. He has never trusted Faro but he is serving a purpose and he is not ready to discard him. Yet.

"He touched me." Her eyes flashes at him. It was the first show of anger he has seen from her and he prefers it to the helpless look in her eyes.

"Faro is a bastard." He swears under his breath. "He won't do it again."

"I won't even allow him to do it to me." She stares hard at him and he sighs, lowering his guard slightly.

In a blink of an eye, she slides on the floor and goes for his legs, sweeping him off his feet. He lands on his bum and takes her with him, letting go of the gun. Thank God the safety is still in place. He twists around and pins her beneath him. Their gazes meet and hold in a power stare. She flexes her muscles but it doesn't move him an inch and he needs to give it to her. She has been well trained and would have been useful to him if the situation isn't so dire. Her eyes didn't waver from his. It is as if she is looking straight into his black soul and he nearly squirm under the unwavering amber gaze. She has such beautiful eyes. He can go on staring into them for eternity. Come back to your senses, Jamal!

The warning is so far away and he is helpless to heed it. The air around them is charged with awareness and he notices how her curvy body fits perfectly into his. His head lowers without conscious thought and the pattern of her breathing changes. Her chest rises and falls rapidly and he knows she is affected by his closeness. His gaze drops to her pink, unpainted lips and his breath caresses her. His thinking process is shutting down and his body seems to be taking over his brain.

"Oh Freya." His lips caress hers lightly and a small gasp escapes her parted lips. She flexes her wrists and he releases them. Her hands settle on his chest and he rolls onto his back, taking her with him.

"Boss, this crazy girl has escaped." Faro's voice cut into the moment and both of them jerk apart, startled.

He releases her abruptly , swearing quietly under his breath and she rolls to the floor. "This boy is a bastard, I swear."

By the time he remembers there is a gun lying around somewhere, he finds himself looking straight into the muzzle of the gun and there is a triumphant smile on her face.

"Doesn't feel so cool to be at the receiving end, right?"

No, it doesn't. He has let down his guard and allows his emotion to rule him. Now, he is in deep shit of trouble.

James Aleshinloye

The following morning finds him at Colby Montessori school and he goes straight to the headmistress, Mrs Jane Faremi 's office. Cameron is right behind him and his eyes are observing everything about him. They have not been able to trace or locate Jamal's whereabouts and James hasn't slept a wink. He didn't want to imagine what his daughter will be going through at the moment because Jamal's ruthlessness can be unrivaled when he feels justified. He has been a personal witness.

"Good morning Sir. How may we assist you?" The smile on Mrs Jane Faremi 's face is nervous as she rises to her feet, flagged by two other teachers.

"I want to see my daughter, Freya Olatorera Aleshinloye. She is one of the teachers in this school. My name is James Aleshinloye." He slaps his ID on the table and watches as the woman picks it with shaking fingers.

"You are welcome, Mr Aleshinloye." She passes the ID to the two other teachers as if to allow them to confirm what she can see with her two eyes. James's lips curl with disgust. " Freya hasn't come in yet. It is unlike her to be late but she hasn't come in and didn't call in either."

"Mrs Faremi, Freya's Car is in the school premises." A man , who James assumes to be the school security guard, says from behind, standing at the office's doorway and all eyes turn to his direction. He wears a uniform. There is concern on his face.

"What do you mean? Are you saying she didn't leave the school premises yesterday?" There is confusion in Mrs Jane Faremi 's voice as she stares at the man.

The woman doesn't even know what is about to hit her.
