The trial date for the Rodriguez family has finally arrived and Sofia is being discharged from the hospital. The doctors helped in removing her bandages.

 Lucius knocked on the door. Come in,Melanie said. Good day missus I'm Lucius Mr Blackwood assistant I have been personally asked to escort you to the court.

 Melanie and Sofia stared at themselves,I've never seen you Sofia voiced out.

 Lucius smiles but continued I have always assisted Mr Blackwood in the dark and I have been staying with you since when you left the United States.

 What?melanie said astonished 

 I still don't believe you?sofia said scrutinizing him

 Lucius picked up his phone and dialed Liam. Sir Liam the missus refused to leave with me 

 If I don't see you in the court in the next fifteen minutes you will see what I will do to you Liam said before hanging up the phone

 They arrived at the court shortly after As they entered the courtroom, Melanie and Sofia were immediately struck by the sea of unfamiliar faces. The room was packed with reporters, lawyers, and spectators, all eager to catch a glimpse of the highly publicized trial.

 Melanie and Sofia greeted Liam and Aiden when they saw them. You too are going back to school on Monday and you will be living with us from now on. After the coronation I will place someone in charge to over see the affairs in Spain. Your security team will be re-enforced and there will be female securities to take care of your womanly needs. Note that they are allowed to follow you into the restroom Liam said nonchalantly

 Judge Thompson a stern looking woman with a reputation for being tough but fair entered the courtroom and took her seat on the bench. The court is now in session,she announced.

 The case before ya today is Sofia Rodriguez again the monarch. The defendants are tried with physical abuse and attempted murder.

 Lawyer Bamidele stood up `your honor, Sofia Rodriguez is ready to proceed'

 Judge Thompson nodded signifying to him that he should call the first witness.

 "Sofia Rodriguez calls on the head maid in the house of burbon"

 An aged woman stood up and walk towards the stand,she swore to tell the truth and always the truth.

 "Mrs Freeman can you tell us when Sofia Rodriguez started to experience physical abuse"

 Mrs Freeman hesitated before speaking it started when she was six. The family of four were always sweet to each other. But since when they went to the park and were unreachable for a week 12 years ago they changed their attitude towards her. She became malnourished at that tender age but it was until miss Bates and Infanta Sofia became friends that they started taking care of her.

 Sofia buried her head in Melanie shoulders as she cries. That's all you can leave now lawyer Bamidele told Mrs Freeman 

 The defendant lawyer stood up I will like to call on Miss bates to the stand.

 Do you and princess Leonor get along? He[the defendant lawyer] asked 

 I'm always neutral to anyone except Sofia Melanie replied 

 They're many reports and video evidences that you and princess Leonor has never gotten along so you are here to slander her all because of the spite you hold against her. Your honor,I will like to sue miss bates for defamation.

 Objection my lord lawyer Bamidele shouted.objection overruled.

 Just because I occasionally have arguments with Leonor doesn't mean I hate her and if you conduct your research properly you will know that it's always Leonor starting the argument. Your honor I will like to sue lawyer Anderson for slander Melanie said sternly.

 Aiden smirked she's feisty he mutters. Lawyer Anderson no obnoxious accusations in the courtroom,judge Thompson said

 Miss bates when did you notice that infanta Sofia has been suffering from physical abuse?asked lawyer Bamidele 

 I never noticed it until recently she has always made excuses of her learning the Spanish rules and taking etiquette lessons. 

 Did you notice marks on her body or she told you herself?

 She told me herself,but I noticed Sofia had always been frightened of Leonor 

 You can leave now thank you miss bates.

 Leonor couldn't hold on any longer and shouted `she stole my Fiancee so she deserve to die'

 Officers restrained her judge Thompson commanded

 Based on video evidence and from our two witnesses who are closer to the victim we can confirm that infanta Sofia had always been abused since when she was a child.

 After the judge sentence them take them to the warehouse were Melanie parents are Aiden instructed Lucius.

 This is the end of the trial and mr and Mrs Rodriguez with princess Leonor is sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labor and isolation.

 Melanie jumped happily and hugged Sofia 

 You've won,we won you've finally gotten the justice you deserve.

 While the police officers were distracted Leonor grabbed the gun and broke free from the police officers restrains. She pointed the gun at Sofia "if I'm going to die I will surely take you with-" 

 I think the police men still need to take extra training cause I don't understand how a weak and feeble woman will be able to break from your restraints Liam said sarcastically as he handed the tranquilizer to mike.

 BREAKING NEWS

 The trial has ended and Leonor and Mrs and Mrs Rodriguez has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Leonor also threatened to kill infanta Sofia but was knocked down by Mr Blackwood with a tranquilizer.
