The captain of the ANBU squad, Zhu, wearing a pig-shaped mask with three red markings on top, spoke calmly as he formed hand seals.
Earth Release: Heavenly Descending Lid!
Swish!
A section of the sky darkened, and a massive lid engraved with a beast's head descended, trapping Sasuke, the building he stood on, and the members of Team Taka below.
"Trying to trap us in here?" Jūgo asked, his tone cold.
"Hmph." Sasuke snorted disdainfully, leaping off the building.
Crackle!
Lightning danced across his left hand, forming into a sharp spear. With a single motion, he pierced through the lid, shattering it into pieces as arcs of electricity scattered.
"Not bad for a Lightning Release user," said Yuan, another ANBU captain wearing a bird-beak mask with light whisker-like patterns. He quickly formed hand seals.
Wind Release: Wind Blade Slash!
Swish!
A white current of air transformed into sharp wind blades, sweeping toward Team Taka.
Clang! Clang!
Suigetsu Hozuki swung his Executioner's Blade swiftly, deflecting the wind blades.
"Sasuke, a large amount of chakra is converging on us!" Karin warned.
"That woman… a sensory type?"
Xiang, the third ANBU captain wearing an elephant-shaped mask, murmured to himself as he formed hand seals.
Lightning Release: Four Pillar Bind!
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Four massive stone pillars rose from the ground in the cardinal directions, releasing intense streams of electricity.
"This doesn't look good!" Suigetsu exclaimed.
"Hmph."
Sasuke snorted again, his eyes transforming into the straight-bar Mangekyō Sharingan.
Fwoosh!
Purple flames of chakra ignited, forming the skeletal frame of Susanoo, shielding him from the lightning surging from all directions.
"Hmm!?" The three ANBU captains showed surprise beneath their masks.
Whoosh!
A massive sword materialized in Susanoo's skeletal hand. With a single sweep, the four stone pillars were sliced apart.
"Scatter!" Zhu, Yuan, and Xiang retreated, putting distance between themselves and Sasuke.
"That thing is massive. Its wind resistance must be immense!" Yuan said as he formed hand seals.
Wind Release: Great Net Technique!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Sharp wind blades intertwined into a massive net, striking the front of Susanoo.
"But that alone won't stop it," Xiang said as he formed more hand seals.
Lightning Release: Sixteen Pillar Bind!
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Sixteen enormous stone pillars rose, completely enclosing the area.
Crackle!
The lightning that followed was several times more violent than before, engulfing Susanoo entirely.
"This reminds me of when we dealt with Pain's summoned beasts," Zhu remarked as he formed hand seals.
Earth Release: Clay Fall!
Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle!
The sky darkened even more than before, and a massive amount of clay rained down from above.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The sixteen pillars closed at the top, forming a giant box.
"Let's add some fire to the mix, just like we did back then!" Xiang said, forming additional seals.
Fire Release: Burning Technique!
Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh!
Intense flames ignited within the box, turning the clay into a solid, fortress-like structure around Susanoo.
"That should keep him quiet for a while," Yuan said.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
But cracks quickly appeared on the fortress, and it shattered moments later.
"Your strength is nothing more than this?"
Surrounded by a dark purple aura, Sasuke's cold gaze pierced through the smoke. Fully armored Susanoo stood tall, its tengu-like form now perfected with the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Susanoo swung its massive blade, leveling the surrounding buildings and clearing an open space.
From a distance, the three ANBU captains watched in awe.
"So, that's the power of the Uchiha's eyes," Zhu muttered.
"There's no way the three of us can stop that thing," Yuan admitted.
"Our mission is complete," Xiang said calmly.
From all directions, Konoha shinobi began to converge on the area.
At the forefront of the crowd, Kakashi Hatake stared at Sasuke, who was burning with murderous intent inside Susanoo. His voice carried both pain and regret. "You've fallen, Sasuke…"
Not far behind Kakashi, Sakura Haruno called out desperately, "Sasuke-kun!! Please, stop!!!"
"Sakura… Kakashi…" Sasuke murmured.
"Do you know them?" Jūgo asked.
"Yeah, they were my former comrades. But now, they're irrelevant. They're all on my kill list for this raid—Naruto included."
Sasuke's voice was cold and detached as he scanned the faces around him, some familiar, some unfamiliar. "Ah… there are so many people I want to kill, I don't even know where to start."
Suddenly, his gaze shifted upward.
Above him hovered an ink-painted hawk, carrying a young man who bore a striking resemblance to Sasuke.
It was Sai, the replacement for Sasuke in Team 7 after his defection.
"So, it's you," Sasuke said, recognizing Sai from their brief encounter at Orochimaru's hideout.
"That's the current Uchiha Sasuke…" Sai thought to himself before speaking loudly. "You've come to avenge Lord Danzō, haven't you? But he's not in the village right now!"
"How does Sai know about Lord Danzō's absence? That information was classified!"
The Root members on the outskirts of the battlefield were shocked by Sai's words.
One of them muttered, "Sai's reconnaissance skills are among the best in Root, but leaking this to the enemy… As Lord Danzō suspected, he harbors disloyalty toward Root. After this, he'll need to be dealt with."
Sai, however, had his own thoughts. "I'm sorry, Lord Danzō. I may be a member of Root, but first and foremost, I'm a shinobi of Konoha. If Sasuke is truly here for you, at least this might prevent the destruction of the village."
"Hmph. I already knew that," Sasuke sneered coldly. His voice then turned icy and murderous as it echoed across the battlefield. "Not just Danzō—I'll annihilate all of Konoha. Every shinobi, every civilian… no one will be spared!"
"Sasuke…" Sakura's heart shattered as she bit her lip, tears streaming down her face.
Kakashi narrowed his eyes and lifted his headband, revealing his Sharingan.
"And I hate it when people talk down to me," Sasuke said, his lips curling into a sinister smile. "So, I'll start with you!"
Clang!
Susanoo hurled its massive sword toward Sai in the sky.

In the forest outside Konoha, two men who once shared the dream of becoming Hokage now stood in opposition.
Beneath his mask, Obito's bloodshot eye glistened with cold sweat as he clenched his fist, his voice trembling with disbelief. "How… how do you know?"
Naruto's expression was both playful and sharp. "Oh, that's a long story. How about this—you step aside, I'll stop Sasuke, and then I'll explain it to you later?"
Obito's gaze flickered before settling into a cold resolve. His voice, now devoid of disguise, was low and threatening. "No. I'll listen… after I take back Madara's Rinnegan."
Naruto smirked. "We're both stubborn, aren't we? Looks like we'll have to settle this with a fight. Konan, step back. I'll handle him."
Obito responded, "Tobi, fall back. I'll deal with him myself."
Konan and White Zetsu's clone, Tobi, withdrew, leaving the battlefield to the two men.
The Kamui Mangekyō and the Rinnegan flared to life simultaneously.
"Let's go!!!"
