Life with Ethan and Noah as toddlers was both exhausting and hilarious. The twins had developed unique personalities—Ethan was the curious one, always asking questions about everything, while Noah was the mischief-maker, constantly finding ways to test Emma and Jae's patience.
One evening, Emma caught Noah stuffing cookies into the DVD player. "Noah!" she exclaimed. "What are you doing?"
"Sharing with the movie people," Noah replied innocently.
Meanwhile, Ethan was busy organizing his toys by color and yelling at Noah for "ruining the system." Parenting the two was like running a comedy show with no intermission, but Emma and Jae loved every moment of it
One morning, Emma woke up feeling off. She'd been unusually tired and a bit nauseous. Jae teased her. "You're probably just overworking yourself trying to keep up with the twins."
But Emma decided to check in with her doctor just to be safe.
During the ultrasound, the doctor smiled knowingly. "Well, Emma, it looks like congratulations are in order. You're pregnant again."
Emma blinked. "Pregnant? Again?"
"Yes," the doctor said. "And this time, it's a girl."
Emma's heart swelled with joy. A little girl! She couldn't wait to tell Jae and the boys.
The doctor then leaned back and added with a playful smile, "Or maybe it's triplets this time. You know, just to keep things interesting."
Emma's jaw dropped. "Triplets?!"
The doctor laughed. "I'm kidding, just one. She's perfectly healthy."
Emma rolled her eyes but couldn't help laughing along. "Don't scare me like that!"
When Emma told Jae, his reaction was a mix of excitement and mock terror.
"A girl? That's amazing!" he said, pulling her into a hug. Then he added with a smirk, "But triplets? Don't do that to me, Emma. I almost had a heart attack."
Ethan and Noah were thrilled when they found out they'd have a baby sister.
"Can we name her Princess Sparkles?" Ethan asked.
"Or Ninja Cookie!" Noah suggested.
Emma laughed. "Let's wait until she's born before deciding on a name, okay?"
As Emma's pregnancy progressed, the household was filled with excitement. The twins loved feeling Emma's belly.
"Is she kicking?" Noah asked, pressing his ear to her stomach.
"She just kicked me in the face!" Ethan complained, making everyone laugh.
Jae took on more responsibilities, cooking meals and entertaining the boys to give Emma some much-needed rest. But even he couldn't escape the chaos.
One day, he found himself stuck in the twins' toy fort, which they insisted was "Daddy's new house."
When Emma went into labor, it was chaos all over again. Jae frantically searched for his car keys while Emma stood calmly by the door, timing her contractions.
At the hospital, the same doctor greeted them with a grin. "Ready for your triplets?" she joked, winking.
Emma groaned. "Don't start!"
The delivery went smoothly, and soon Emma and Jae were holding their baby girl. She had Jae's dark hair and Emma's warm brown eyes.
"She's beautiful," Jae whispered, his voice full of emotion.
"Welcome to the family, little one," Emma said softly, her heart full.
As they looked at their baby girl, they knew their family was finally complete—though the chaos was far from over.
