But this story isn’t just about Dragos and Dawn. It explores the history, conflicts, and hierarchies of the vampire world, tracing back to Dragavei, the first of Dragos’ bloodline, and his tragic past with his wife. It delves into the struggles of Azrael, Dragos' ruthless older brother, whose backstory is as heartbreaking as it is intense. It follows Rafael, Dragos' loyal sireling, exposing his own challenges. Every character has a part to play, each with their own scars, goals, and choices that affect the world around them. This book is filled with relatable and emotional themes of grief, destiny, romance, betrayal, revenge, redemption, and so much more. I spent two years writing this story, facing challenges like writer's block and tackling plot holes along the way.
