Chapter 195: Bonus Chapter – Hilarious and Sweet Post-Marriage Life

Before the delightful "cohabitation" summer vacation, here's a sweet and funny extra chapter for you.

*"The Lifelong Event of Miss Eileen Snape"*

If this title sounds familiar, it might be because you know her grandmother. However, this Eileen is not that Eileen; she is not the mother of the Potions Professor but the daughter of Severus Snape and Orli Snape.

As the only daughter of the Potions Master couple, Eileen inherited her mother's beauty and personality while also inheriting her father's signature black hair and black eyes. She is not only charming and adorable but also comes from a well-off family. At Hogwarts, she has made two close friends, enjoying what should be the most carefree years of her life.

However, Eileen has recently been feeling troubled because her father is far too stubborn—she's about to turn sixteen, yet she can't even invite her two friends over for the summer holidays!

"Dad! Please, Albus and Scorpius are just staying for a week. I can let them sleep in the treehouse, and they won't disturb you and Mom!" Eileen pleaded in her letter.

"Severus, this is already the tenth letter Eileen has sent this week," Orli said with a chuckle.

"Ab-so-lutely not!" Snape replied without even lifting his eyes from the newspaper. "I will not allow any Potter to set foot in my yard."

"It's just a visit; it doesn't mean anything. Back when I was in school, I often visited the Weasleys," Orli said, reaching out to play with one of his fingers, forcing him to put down his newspaper and hold her mischievous hand instead.

"It doesn't mean anything? Don't think I don't know what Molly Weasley had in mind for you. She always hoped one of her sons would marry you!" Snape attempted to glare at her, but as soon as his gaze fell on his wife's face, it softened. "I don't want Eileen getting too close to Albus Potter. If my daughter marries into the Potter family..."

He seemed to envision a certain scenario, and his fingers trembled slightly.

"Do you want Eileen to marry Scorpius instead? Then you'd be on the same level as Draco, and your daughter would marry Lucius's grandson..." Orli teased, watching Snape's face turn pale. She then comforted him, "Don't worry, maybe Eileen could marry her professor instead, right? My dear Professor."

Snape's expression froze for a moment, but soon, the corners of his mouth uncontrollably curved upward. "If you keep calling me that, I'll give you detention."

"Yes, Gryffindor loses three points, Professor," Orli said with a laugh, kissing him on the lips, to which he responded with a deeper kiss.

——

Two days later, an owl brought back a letter from Eileen.

Previously, Orli had subtly asked her daughter in a letter: "Which professor do you like the most at school?"

Eileen's reply was as follows:

"My favorite professor is, of course, Professor Neville Longbottom of Herbology! He's tall, handsome, and gentle! He never deducts points or loses his temper. He's simply my idol!"

"Neville Longbottom?" Snape's voice went up an octave. "I should've sent her to Beauxbatons instead!"

Orli silently said to her little Eileen in her heart: If it's Neville, Mom might not be able to help you either.

*Notes:*

1. Before Eileen enrolled at Hogwarts, Snape was no longer teaching there. So, he has no control over his daughter's school life.

2. Eileen, Albus Potter, and Scorpius Malfoy all entered Hogwarts in the same year (September 1, 2017) and were all sorted into Slytherin, becoming inseparable friends.

3. Handsome Professor Longbottom is actually married, so who will Snape's son-in-law be in the end—Potter or Malfoy?

Hahaha, burp.

4. Orli and Snape only had one child, and they had her quite late. Eileen was born in the spring of 2006 (if they married in 1998, it would be their eighth year of marriage). I previously wrote in a cosplay story that Snape initially didn't want Orli to have children because childbirth for witches is also painful and potentially life-threatening. Moreover, he thought a child would take away Orli's love (Professor, you're a bit of a yandere). He even secretly took contraceptive potions for several years. Later, it was Orli who wanted a child, so they had a daughter. But after accompanying Orli through pregnancy and childbirth, Snape firmly refused to let her have a second child. For this, he has mocked Arthur Weasley more than once for letting his wife have so many children.
