I get home and the first thing I do is turn my phone on. I have ten missed calls from James. I decide not to call him back and wait until tomorrow because I should come up with a good lie. I undress, take a long shower and fall asleep quickly.The next morning, I get ready very quickly and decide to call James before going to class. He picks up the phone at the first ring- "where were you yesterday?" he asks me- "Good morning to you too. I fell asleep and forgot to take the silent mode off my phone"- "I'll see you tonight", he says and hangs up.He texts me an address and after checking it is a restaurant. I leave my dormitory, direction the university.I go back home as soon as I finish my class. I don't want to see Kyle especially after our discussion yesterday. I can't tell him I'm going out tonight. I study until 7pm and then get ready to meet James.Dressed in a pink dress and my YSL shoes, I arrive at the restaurant. He is already there and as usual, I am late- "good evening", I greet him by kissing him- "good evening doll, you are ravishing"- "Thank you. Have you already ordered?"- "Yes, I did. So, what's up since the last time"- "nothing special, just student life. How about you?"]- "Just work. I bought you the apartment you sent me. We're going to see it tonight",- "Thanks a lot James, I can't wait to see it"We eat in a good atmosphere. I don't know but I feel peaceful with him. I don't need to hide or embellish my image with him, and it relieves me.We leave the restaurant after we finish eating. James tells me that he has to go to his place to get some documents and so I go with him.We arrive in front of a very beautiful house. James takes off his belt and I do the same- "What are you doing?"- "I'm coming with you, I want to see your house"- "Oh no, not even in your fucking dreams. My wife is in there and believe me, it's not a good idea to provoke her"- "unless you lock me in this car, I'm coming with you"- "as you wish"I get out of the car with him. As soon as we enter the house, a woman welcomes us. I thought she was old, but I was wrong. In spite of her Botox, she is in shape. I wrap my arm around James' waist- "James's wife, I suppose", I ask her- "my husband's slut", he throws me with a haughty look- "I prefer to call myself his partner, don't you baby?", I ask James who is amused by my discussion with his wife- "rather the one who is temporarily warming his bed"- "I'll be back in five minutes", says James- "Okay, baby, but hurry, I can't wait to show you what I've prepared for you tonight," I tell him.- "Enjoy the few months you're going to spend with him. Believe me it won't last"- "I don't need your advice. I wonder what person is so desperate to accept that her husband is seeing other people. You know, if you want to keep what little dignity you have left, you should get a divorce."- "Listen to me very well young lady, I will never divorce him, and James will never leave me. You will only be his fucking mistress, his whore. You will never take my place. The sooner you get that through your head, the better. Many sluts were with him before you and yet I'm still here.:- "I'm done, honey, let's go," says James as he joins us.- "it was nice to meet you, young lady. See you next time if he doesn't throw you by then", she says to me with a falsely cheerful air.I really hate her. If I could pull her hair out, one by one, I would. Maybe she's right, James only intends to make me his mistress and that pisses me off. I leave the house and rush to the car.- "I told you that wasn't a good idea," James tells me as he takes the driver's seat.I ignore him and keep looking ahead- "I don't know what she said to you but please try to forget about it", he asks me then kiss me.I decide to do what he tells me to do because I can't change anything for the moment, anyway. But I swear that I will get rid of that woman as soon as possible.We arrive at the apartment that I chose, and it is really nice. James gives me the double of my keys and we spend a dream evening in spite of the fact that what his wife told me is still engraved in my head.
