Chapter 23:

Few minutes later.....

After coming back from the tomb, I locked Pearl in a basement room and again placed a sealing spell on it to make sure she couldn't escape. Then I give the blood bag to the unknown vampire that Stefan took from the tomb. When he finally regains consciousness, Damon asks him about Katherine, but the vampire says he doesn't know. At his words, Damon becomes angry, twists his neck, and leaves the basement angrily. When Damon finally left the basement, then I take out my sword from system and strike him in the heart, and killed him. After that I grabbed that unknown vampire arm and then teleport from Salvatore Boarding House to Forbes House.

Forbes House:

I ring the bell, then I hear one set of foot steps. And when the door finally opens then I see that Elizabeth is the one who opened the door.

Elizabeth: Oh!! Hello!! You're Caroline's boyfriend, right?..... Hmm... If you want to talk to her..... she is in her room...

Light: No!! Actually, I want to talk to you about something!

I said this before she can complete her whole sentence.

She is shock by my words.

Elizabeth: You want to talk to me???

I nod.

Light: Yes!! It's about a vampire!!

She becomes even more shocked by my words, if that's even possible. Then she look towards Caroline's room, steps out of her house and close the door behind her.

Elizabeth: You know about vampires!!..... So!! What is it that you want to tell me??

Light: I brought you a gift!!

I grin at her.

Then I walk towards the bushes and then I take out a very dead vampire from the bushes. And Elizabeth give me a look that means, I don't know what to say.

Light: I heard you and Caroline talking about me at the founders party. And when Caroline said my name..... you said Light Yagami. You were right, I'm Light Yagami!!

Elizabeth: What??? How??? But Caroline said that your name is Light Salvatore!!!

She give me a disbelief look.

I shrug my shoulders.

Light: I didn't use my family name because I have many enemies!!! And if they know my family name then they will come after my loved ones!!

Then I look towards the dead vampire.

Light: He's the one responsible for all the animal attacks! When I heard about the attacks in Mystic Falls, I knew it had to be a vampire behind them. As a vampire hunter, I returned to Mystic Falls to track him down and kill him!!!

I said this so seriously that I also start believing the lies I just said to Elizabeth.

Then Elizabeth look towards the body then look towards me with sparkling eyes.

Elizabeth: I... I... umm... I'm a big fan of yours!!! And I thank you, on behalf of Mystic Falls, for killing this vampire!!!

I just give a node at her words. And then I set the vampire body down in front of her.

Light: Figured you could use a hand.

Elizabeth: This is... this is the first vampire I've ever seen!! And you... you just brought it to my doorstep like it's nothing!!!

Then she look towards the body again.

Elizabeth: I've known about them! The stories! The history in this town! But to actually see one... it's different!!!

I just look towards her because I don't know what to say to her.

Elizabeth: It's over now!!! The attacks, the deaths... it's finished!!! Mystic Falls can finally breathe again!!

Oh!! I doubt that. It's just the beginning. I say this in my mind.

Next day...

Mystic Falls High School:

I sit down in my seat. And then I turn towards Bonnie and Elena.

Light: So!!! You're saying that you guys going to have a small party night and you're inviting Rebekah but not me!!!

I pouted pitifully.

Bonnie: Aww!!!! You're so cute!!

Then Bonnie put both her hands on my face, squeeze my cheeks and then kiss me on the lips.

Elena smile at us.

Elena: And Light!! It's a girl's night!! Of course you can't come, you're not a girl!!

And Elena tease me.

????: Good morning everyone!!

Then we all turn towards the direction of the voice. Then I see Alaric walking inside the classroom.

Alaric: Allright!!!

Then he walks towards the blackboard and starts writing his name. When he finishes writing his name, he turns back.

Alaric: Alaric Saltzman!! It's a mouthful.... I know, it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue!!

Then he smile.

Alaric: Saltzman is of German origins..... my family immigrated here in 1755 to Texas. I however was born and raised in Boston. Now!! The name Alaric belongs to a very dead great-grandfather..... I'll never be able to thank enough! You'll probably want to pronounce it.... Aalaric but it's Alaric!! Okay!! So you can call me Rick..... I'm your new history teacher!

Now Alaric is here then time has come for Anna to appear.
