Shadow of Eternity

The Blackspire Ruins stretched endlessly beneath the blood-red sky, the remnants of an ancient civilization long forgotten. Ashen Dain stood at the edge of a crumbling bridge, staring into the abyss below. The air was thick with whispers—voices of the past—or perhaps, the voices of those who had succumbed to the Ember of Eternity.

Behind him, Lyra Solen approached cautiously, her staff pulsing with arcane energy.

"You shouldn't be here," she warned. "This place is cursed."

Dain didn't turn. His crimson eyes glowed faintly, reflecting the dying embers floating around them. "Cursed? Or forsaken?" His voice was eerily calm. "Either way, it's exactly where I need to be."

Dain smirked. "Good. Because fear is a weakness I no longer afford."

From the shadows, Kaelen Vireth emerged, his armor scratched and dented from the battles they had fought. "We don't have time for riddles," he said gruffly. "Raxos is moving. If we don't stop him now, the world will burn."

Dain exhaled slowly. The flames of the Ember flickered around his fingertips, a power both intoxicating and uncontrollable.

"Then let it burn," he muttered.

Lyra stepped forward, anger flashing in her eyes. "Is that what you want? To become like him?"

Dain's smirk faded. "I don't want to become him," he said softly. "I want to surpass him."

Before Lyra could protest, a gust of wind howled through the ruins. The shadows twisted unnaturally, and a deep rumbling echoed across the landscape.

Kaelen drew his sword. "He's here."

The sky cracked open, and from the darkness, Raxos Daerith descended, his black armor gleaming under the crimson light. His presence was suffocating, his aura radiating raw destruction.

"You've come far, Dain," Raxos said, his voice dripping with mockery. "But tell me, does power make you feel
