'Feeding a pig before slaughter, I see.'
Hearing the words mixed with a hint of flirtation and tease, unlike before, maybe due to realizing her face is similar to this arrogant fairy, I could see the real aim for the Princess was to let my guard down.
But still, it was surprising to see her behave in such a way.
From her character—at least what I know so far, where until the book got dropped, she had never married or loved anyone throughout the whole story, her cold personality became more firm with each passing day as if she had nothing to lose—a woman who just wanted to achieve immortality even at the cost of sacrificing everything.
I had an assumption before reading this story which was that it's given that one who remains untouched by love would naturally try to find it in someone or some places, but this wasn't the case for her.
