Vivienne ultimately agreed to grant me my freedom.
But before that, she pushed my wheelchair to the dungeon where I was once held captive.
As the door opened, that familiar chilling air hit me.
I instinctively trembled with fear.
Vivienne leaned close to my ear and whispered softly, "Don't be afraid, Dashiell. With me here, no one will ever dare to hurt you again."
Inside the dungeon.
Rows of candles were lit all around.
The flickering flames cast an eerily terrifying atmosphere.
Gunner was on his knees, facing our direction, with chains on his hands and feet, his entire body a bloody mess.
Seeing Vivienne arrive, he suddenly seemed to perk up.
"Vivienne, you've come to save me, right?"
"Please, get me out of here quickly. They're inhuman. I'm in so much pain, I feel like I'm dying..."
Vivienne stomped her foot on his head, grinding his face into the ground.
"Can't take it anymore?"
"Everything Dashiell endured here, you'll experience twice over."
