Chapter 53: Asia: It's Huge!

It was already late afternoon when Zaydas returned home with Shizue, Asia, and Ravel after bidding farewell to Rias, Akeno, and the rest. Before saying goodbye, he gave each of them a golden fruit. He also gave one to Ravel, Asia, and Shizue.

Zaydas and the girls were alone; Grayfia had not yet returned from the underworld.

Ravel said, "Ahh, I had so much fun~"

"Me too~!" Asia exclaimed with a cute smile.

Shizue just smiled, but it was clear that her mood had improved since returning.

"Ano, I'm going to take a bath and lie down for a bit," Ravel said.

"Go ahead." Zaydas smiled. "You had a lot of fun; you must be tired."

"Excuse me~" She smiled, turning to go upstairs.

Before Asia and Shizue could go up as well, he said, "Wait, there's something I want to ask both of you."

Stopping, the two followed him to the living room.

After serving a cup of tea, Zaydas created a soundproofing spell.

Asia was confused, but Shizue didn't even blink.

"It's like this." Zaydas began, "I'm going to another universe. And I want to know if you want to come with me. I might stay there for about 20 days, while only one day will pass here."

"Different universes? Time difference?" Asia looked like she was seeing stars, just like in cartoons.

Zaydas explained in more detail.

"So, Zaydas-san is capable of traveling between different universes?" Asia seemed enchanted.

"Yes." Zaydas nodded.

"That's amazing~!" Asia clasped her hands in a prayer-like gesture. Her eyes sparkled intensely.

Even Zaydas felt a bit strange under such an intense look of admiration.

"Can I stay?" Shizue asked.

"Yes, you're free to choose." Zaydas smiled. "It doesn't matter if you want to stay or come with me."

"I... want to stay." She replied.

"Alright." He turned to Asia. "And you, Asia, do you wish to come with me or stay?"

"I want to go!" Asia answered without hesitation. She seemed excited about the situation.

"Very well, we'll leave in 20 minutes. Come to my room when you're ready." Zaydas told her.

"Okay~"

───────────

23 minutes later...

Asia knocked on Zaydas' door.

"You can come in," Zaydas responded.

"Excuse me..."

When the door opened, she entered, pulling a suitcase behind her.

She looked around Zaydas' room curiously.

"Wow, it's huge!" she exclaimed.

"..." Was it his fault for thinking something inappropriate when she said that in such a sweet and innocent voice, sounding genuinely surprised?

Maybe it really was...

'In the end, I'm still a guy, huh...' He laughed at himself.

Feigning a cough, Zaydas spoke seriously, "Asia, hold my hand and... Just a reminder, don't say anything about coming from another universe and don't talk too much about us, understood? There are things better left unsaid to avoid complications. I'm trusting you."

"Y-You can trust me!" she responded seriously.

"Very well." Smiling, he said, "We're ready. Get prepared."

"Y-Yes." She answered, feeling a little nervous but also excited.

Zaydas marked the location near the orchard, and after surrounding Asia with his power, he used Dimensional Jump.

───────────

Their vision darkened and then returned a few seconds later when they were already in Isekai Nonbiri Nouka (INN).

When Asia could see again, she looked curious and a little shy as she observed her unfamiliar surroundings.

"Two moons?" she murmured.

"Haha, well, it's normal for that to be one of the most attention-grabbing things." Zaydas chuckled slightly. "Does it feel clearer now that this is another world?"

"Another world..." She murmured softly, nodding. Asia said, "Yes, I'm starting to feel it."

Footsteps were heard. Asia held onto the edge of Zaydas' shirt, almost hiding behind him as a group of girls appeared.

"Zaydas, you're back!" Ria said with a happy smile.

It hadn't even been 30 minutes since he left for them, so they seemed happy and surprised that he had appeared now.

"Mm, the opportunity arose for me to show up earlier," Zaydas said without explaining.

Soon, he finished reversing the flow of time and added, "By the way, this one with me is Asia Argento. She is part of my Peerage."

When they heard this, some of them looked at Asia with interest, even with envy.

Even if only a little, they had heard about Zaydas.

Asia stepped out from behind Zaydas with a gentle smile and said, "Hello, I am the Bishop, Asia Argento. It's a pleasure to meet you all."

Ria introduced herself first, followed by her sisters.

"Ria, I need your help. Can you help Asia in the golden fruit orchard?" Zaydas said. "I'm heading to the Fish Hatchery."

"Of course, leave it to me~!" Ria replied with a confident smile.

Zaydas turned to her: "Asia, go with Ria and the others. Help them harvest the golden fruits, okay? It's the same golden fruit I gave you before, and you can eat two as a reward for helping."

"Yes, I will." She responded. Although she seemed a little unsure of herself, she still stood firm.

'It will be good if she interacts a little with the elves,' Zaydas thought to himself.

...

In the fish water, Zaydas began hitting with the hoe submerged in the water, starting from the bottom and moving up to the walls, planting: Rotala, Limnophila, Nymphaea lotus, Myriophyllum, Cabomba, Hygrophila, Rotala, Egeria densa.

It was more complicated to do because of the water, but not that much.

...

Asia, who followed Ria and the elves to the orchard, listened to their life stories.

"Wow, as expected of Zaydas-san, he saved you all too." Asia sympathized with them.

She also found herself lost after being abandoned by the church...

"Yes, he saved us in many ways~" Ria replied cheerfully, and the elf girls laughed.

Asia didn't seem to understand the hidden meaning in her words and simply smiled.

"Ehehe. I see, Zaydas-san also saved me..." She then spoke a little about herself, but not much.

Following Zaydas' instructions, she didn't mention the fact that they were from another universe. She tried not to delve into certain topics, like how those who wanted to use her as a sacrifice were fallen angels, since she didn't know if fallen angels existed in this universe.

"I see, you've had difficult times too." Ria smiled warmly.

"Yes, but thanks to that, I met Zaydas-san~! It's all thanks to God!" She prayed.

However, the pain she expected from such actions never came. She had instinctively closed her eyes, but when she opened one of them and realized she hadn't received any punishment, she was pleasantly surprised.

'Even though I'm a Devil now... Why am I not being punished for praying to God?'

Thinking for a moment, she recited in her mind: 'Oh God. Please forgive a sinful person like me, who cannot read the Bible!'

...

Unaware that Asia had discovered one of the great advantages of being in another dimension not governed by the laws of the DxD universe—just like the system of God that prevented Devils from praying to Him—Zaydas began planting corn, soybeans, and sorghum. Two plots of each in total.

All of this would primarily be used to feed the animals. For now, it was enough, but later he planned to expand more.

With all of that done, he started fencing off the area to prevent any wild animals from invading the garden, although it was rather unlikely given the presence of the hell wolves, Zabuton, and her offspring.

...

When he finished making a suitable place for the animals as well, Zaydas approached the orchard to find the girls.

There, he saw that each of them had already harvested enough golden fruits to fill a moving truck.

"Girls, good job," Zaydas said to them, announcing his presence.

Turning to him, they smiled.

"Good job."

Asia came up to him, looking very excited. She was sweating a lot, but that didn't diminish her glow. In fact, it only enhanced her sensuality as a woman, giving her a mix of innocence and sexiness.

"Zaydas-san, I really enjoyed doing this~" she said cheerfully.

Of course, even without her saying it, he could easily deduce that.

"I'm glad you liked it." Touching her head, he used a cleaning spell he had learned from the elves.

Soon, all the dust and even the sweat were wiped away from her body.

"Ehehe." She playfully stuck out her tongue. "Thank you~"

"No, I should be thanking you. Thanks for the hard work." Zaydas smiled.

"Let's go back. I'll prepare something delicious for us to eat, and you can have a bottle of wine at dinner tonight, but no more than one, understood?"

"Yay!"

"Understood~!"

"Wine?" Asia tilted her head slightly.

"Yes, wine made from golden fruits," Zaydas replied.

"I see..." Asia responded, a little distracted.

"Let's go," Zaydas said to her. "By the way, Asia, are you afraid of wolves and spiders?"

"No?" She answered uncertainly. "They are all beloved and created by God, after all."

He whispered in her ear, "I don't want to deny your beliefs, Asia, but remember that even those who once wished you harm were among God's most beloved beings."

Asia shivered. Whether it was from his breath in her ear, which made her blush slightly, or from his words.

After all, fallen angels were once angels…

After thinking for a moment, she said, "You might be right, Zaydas-san, but I like to think and believe in the goodness of everyone. I may be naive for thinking this way, but…"

Zaydas continued patting her head. "Haha, it's okay to think that way, you know why?"

"Why?" She looked genuinely confused.

"Because I'm here for you," Zaydas replied.

"Ehehe~" She smiled happily upon hearing his response.

"But you know, Asia?" Zaydas said. "I still want you to continue being who you are, but at the same time, I want to be a little selfish and hope that you don't trust others too easily and that you notice if someone approaches you with ulterior motives."

"I don't think you're being selfish." She shook her head. "After all, isn't this for my own good?" Her eyes sparkled a little. "And… I'll try to be more cautious!"

"I'm happy to hear that." Zaydas smiled gently.

While the two were talking, the elves who were watching them inevitably looked at Asia with a bit of jealousy.

"Ria, do you think they've already done 'it'?" Rize asked.

"Maybe?" Ria answered, uncertain.

"But from the little I've interacted with her…" Risu opined. "I don't think she's reached that stage with him yet."
