"Ana!" he shouted.
A beautiful woman in a tight long dress turned around. Her black hair in a bun added to her beauty. Her narrow eyes seemed to shine when she saw the old man walking hurriedly towards her.
"What's wrong, Mr. Harno?" She Asking him.
"Your painting was sold for 500 million!" She exclaimed proudly. Ana smiled widely when she heard it. She had no intention of selling her work. There was a strong reason behind her work. One of them was because there was a figure who was a memory in there. But she changed her mind. She thought it was the past, although she did not deny that she still hoped that there was hope to be able to meet him again or even get back together.
Huh..
Ana laughed, or rather laughed at herself. How could that figure want to come back with her after what she had done on their wedding day. She cruelly left the man who sincerely loved her for the sake of false pleasure that she eventually regretted.
"They will come to see you." Mr. Harno said
"Them?" Ana's eyebrows furrowed.
"The ones who bought your work were a newlywed couple. I heard that your work was bought as their wedding gift."
Once again.. Ana was moved. If only she had not wasted the opportunity, maybe she would not have come to this event alone. There must have been a man with strong arms available for Ana to circle. But now it was too late for her. That man probably didn't want to see her anymore.
"Mr. Harno!"
THUMP
Her blood flow seemed to stop for a moment. She felt like she heard that voice. The distinctive baritone voice that she had missed for three years like a dream could be heard again. Could it be that...
"Ah.. You shouldn't have bothered coming here. We were just about to meet Andai." Said the middle-aged man who had just been talking to Ana.
Her two big eyes widened when they saw who had bought her painting. He was.. Adrian. The man was now standing a few meters away from her. Adrian looked even more handsome even though three years had passed. But no, that was not the focus of her gaze. Her eyes felt hot instantly seeing the figure standing beside the man.
A beautiful woman was wrapping her arms affectionately around Adrian's arm. She couldn't see him. Her heart ached too much seeing the sight. Ana preferred to look the other way as long as it wasn't towards that sight.
"My wife is tired. I don't want her to get tired. You know that, right?" Adrian replied with a teasing grin.
"Yes!" Indah hit Adrian's arm, although it didn't hurt but it was able to make the man groan in pain. How could this man embarrass her in front of a stranger. Her face was already hot when she realized that Adrian's gaze was a teasing gaze towards her.
"Ah, yes, Miss Ana." Mr. Hong waved his hand at Ana who was still frozen in place. The woman reluctantly stepped forward.
"This is the newlywed couple I told you about earlier." She explained. However, Ana's gaze couldn't focus at all. She was still fixated on Adrian's face which was hardening towards her.
"Hello, I'm Indah. Nice to meet you. You have amazing works. I really like it." Indah bowed her head slightly politely. But Ana did not take her eyes off Adrian who was also looking at her with a hateful gaze.
Realizing something was wrong, Indah immediately nudged her husband's arm. Realizing, Adrian immediately returned to his usual behavior. "Your work is truly amazing, Miss Ana."
A blow managed to hurt her heart. Adrian's indifferent attitude towards her made her heart ache. She felt her body could no longer support her weight. But she had to endure. Wasn't it natural for Adrian to end up acting like that towards her. Her mistake was too big. She knew that, but why was she still so shameless.
"Yes, Thank you, Mr. Aditama." She whispered. That was the only thing she could think of that could come out of her lips properly.
"You're welcome. Then we'll take our leave. It seems like my wife is sleepy." He said after seeing Indah's round eyes starting to turn red. "Come on!" He invited Indah.
HUP!
Unexpectedly Adrian immediately carried the tiny body bridal style. Indah, who was shocked, tried to struggle but her strength would never be able to fight the strength of a man like Adrian.
"Adrian! You're ridiculous. Put me down!" She shouted. Several guests passing by began to whisper when they saw the couple pass by them.
"You're tired. That's why I'm carrying you." He said. He ignores everything, clearly.
"But I have legs!" she grumbled in annoyance. Indah don't take it seriously, but it seems her husband have another thought about it.
"I know." He said. "But, you seems very tired."
Adrian walked carrying Indah, ignoring the stares of the people around him and the scolding that came from his wife's thick lips. All he knew was that he had to get out of that place immediately.
Meanwhile, back there, Mr. Harno and Ana were still faithfully watching them leave. They really like matching couple goals. Adrian and Indah, they are seems very happy.
"They are a perfect couple. The couple does not hesitate to show their natural affection." Mr. Harno said.
"Yes, that's how it should be." Ana smiled wryly.
Ana was shocked. She really didn't expect that the figure she saw now was not the same person. The man was like another person in her eyes now. Ana could only focus on the time that had passed. Many things had changed here. Including her story and Adrian's which seemed to have passed long ago.
"You've changed, Adrian. I no longer recognize you. I am no longer know which man was just in front of me. Everything has changed." She muttered sadly
