Chapter 6

You sit on a chair waiting for Gojo to come back. You rub your head trying to think about what happened earlier. You rub your thighs trying to calm your nerves. The door beside you opens and Gojo walks through. You slowly look up at him and he stands still staring at you.

You sit on a chair, staring at Shoko as she flips through papers. She furrows her eyebrows and looks at Gojo who is sitting to the left of you with one leg over the other.

"How did you get shot?"

"No Idea." Gojo smiles. She raises an eyebrow and sighs as she walks up to you. She raises the chair you're sitting in and flashes a light in your eyes and then checks your mouth and nose.

"So, what Megumi said was true about the healing? She really healed you...?"

"Mhm..."

"So what? Does that mean she has reversed curse technique?" She asks, looking at Gojo. Gojo's smile disappears.

"I don't know... it didn't seem like it."

"What do you mean?" She asks, as she places a stethoscope on your back from under your shirt. 

"She doesn't have cursed energy flowing through her... and when I slept with her, she wasn't giving off any... but she was still able to heal me." He calmly replies. Shoko sighs and stands up straight.

"None of it makes sense to me..." She sighs. She pauses and looks at Gojo and furrows her eyebrows. "You slept with her?"

"Mhm. Sleeping with her sped up the process... it also felt more effective."

"..." She looks at you and puts the stethoscope around her neck. "I'm sorry... I can't figure out what's going on with you... but whatever it is you have... it's quite unique." She sighs.

"Yeah well... She can come in handy when it comes to missions." Gojo smiles again. Shoko looks at him and then back at you.

"Right..." She smiles a bit at you and takes a deep breath. "If something feels off or seemed to change... you can always come back here." She calmly says.

"Okay." You nod.

"Or you can come to me." Gojo smiles. "I can always give a helping hand."

You walk down the hall, following behind Gojo. The thought of what happened earlier that day has been racing around in your head. That guy... Geto didn't want you to tell Gojo you met up with him... but why.

"Hey... Y/n..." Gojo calmly says, stopping in front of you. You stop walking, looking up at him. He turns and looks at you.

"Yeah?" You say, looking at him feeling confused.

"Out of curiosity... has anyone visited you before my kids saved you?"

"Your kids....? You have kids?"

Gojo looks at you for a bit and rests his hands in his pockets.

"I'm talking about Megumi, Nobara and Yuji... my students."

"Oh... Wait what do you mean?" You ask, tilting your head a bit.

"Has anyone tried visiting you before everything happened at your job?"

"No..." 

"You sure?"

"Yeah... why?"

Gojo stands still and turns around, continuing down the hall.

"Remember yesterday... when that man pointed a gun at me..."

"Mhm..."

"The person he was talking about... I was wondering if- he has also tried to come into contact with you."

"The person?"

"The person who has recently been stealing our shipments." He stops walking again and sighs. "Before the guy got killed, he said Ge..." He goes silent and looks back at you. "Do you know someone named Geto?"

Your eyes widen. Gojo stands still waiting for your reply. You furrow your eyebrows and pull your sleeves down over your hands.

"Who's that? Who's Geto...?" You slowly ask. Gojo doesn't move or answer which makes you more anxious to know.

"An old friend." He calmly says, turning away again.

"YO GOJO SENSEI!" 

"Geez... do you have to be so fucking loud." Nobara groans. You turn around to see Itadori, Nobara, and Megumi approaching you.

"Hi Y/n." Itadori softly says, smiling at you.

"I heard you got shot." Nobara says, looking at Gojo.

"Was that true?" Megumi asks. Gojo nods. Megumi furrows his eyebrows and places his hands in his pockets. "How though?"

"I don't know... I'm trying to figure it out... I didn't sense the bullet and it went right through the infinite space." Gojo implies, laughing a bit. Megumi furrows his eyebrows more and looks away. "Well... since you three are here... if you don't mind... keep an eye on y/n for me." He smiles a and begins to walk away.

"Huh? I thought she couldn't be around Itadori." Nobara rasps. Gojo stops walking and looks at you.

"That's right." He walks towards you and places his hand on your shoulder. "Then take her to Maki... she can babysit her for me." He says smiling at Nobara. "Be a good girl for me, okay?" He says patting on your shoulder. Then you feel a sudden jab causing you to go unconscious. "It should be a lot easier to take her now." He says lifting you up and handing you to Itadori. 

Itadori holds you in his arms in bridal style and Gojo slowly backs away. 

"Where are you going?" Megumi asks.

"I need to figure things out... When you take her to Maki... I need you three to meet me in the garage..."

"Did something happen?" Megumi questions.

"Yeah... Someone stole our shipment... again-"

"Which one...?"

"They stole the infinity stones..."

"..." Megumi stares at Gojo, not moving.

"The infinity stones... weren't those supposed to suppress cursed spirits...?" Itadori asks.

"Yeah." Megumi answers.

"We will talk more about it in a bit. Take her to Maki and tell her to watch over her..." Gojo slowly says.

"And if she doesn't want to?" Nobara sighs.

"She doesn't have a choice... I already spoke to her about it yesterday." Gojo answers. Nobara nods and turns around walking down the hall away from Gojo.

"Okay... we will take her." Itadori says, turning to follow Nobara. Megumi stares at Gojo.

"Do you know who stole the shipment?" Megumi asks.

"I have an idea... But I also have a gut feeling that whatever is going on has to do with y/n."

"What do you mean?"

"We talked about this a couple of months ago... about a young woman who had suddenly appeared on the blacklist."

"Yeah..."

"That woman was y/n."

"... so, are you saying she's the reason why the shipments have been disappearing?"

"No- I'm saying that this might end up being more than just the shipment..."

"..."

"We will talk about this later... Just inform Maki on what's going on..."

"Alright."

You feel a breeze hit your face as you slowly wake up. You smell grass and feel the grass rubbing against your skin as you lay on the ground. You furrow your eyebrows and sit up, rubbing your eyes.

"Oh! She's awake." Someone says from beside you.

"Tuna Tuna." 

"Well, hey there... girly." A voice says from behind you. You look towards the person who is speaking. You see a pair of legs walk past you and stop in front of you. You slowly look up to see a pretty girl with her hair tied back and glasses on.

"Hi..."

"Nice to meet you, y/n... I'm Maki." She says with a smile on her face.

"Hi Maki...? Where am I?" 

"Outside behind the headquarters." Someone says from beside you. You look towards their direction to see a panda.

"Did you just talk?" You ask pointing at the panda.

"Yup." He replies. Your eyes widen.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Panda."

"H-Hi Panda...?"

"Kelp." 

You turn your head to see a guy with white hair and his sweater covering the bottom of his face.

"Hi..." You softly say, waving at him.

"Kelp."

"..." You slowly look at Maki who's looking at you.

"Thats Inumaki... he can't speak... for various reasons... but he's nice" She answers.

"Like?" You question.

"Has Gojo taught you what cursed techniques are?" Panda asks. You shake your head.

"All I learned was that I don't have any cursed energy."

"Of course, he didn't teach you... that blindfolded block head..." Maki sighs.

"Wait- did you say you don't have cursed energy?" Panda questions.

"Fish Flakes."

"You don't have cursed energy? So, then what was Gojo talking about?" Maki asks.

"I don't know... I don't know what he told you."

"Right..." She furrows her eyebrows and looks down.

"Welp- let's not worry much about that." Panda grunts as he stands up and holds his hand out to help you up. "Basically, Inumaki can't speak because that's his cursed technique."

"Huh?"

"If he tells you to like... die or stop... you would do as he says..."

"It's dangerous for him to speak... so he uses safe words instead... to communicate." Maki interrupts Panda.

"Salmon."

"Oh... Okay." You slowly nod and look towards Inumaki.

"Well... nice to meet you Inumaki... I'm y/n."

"Kelp." He nods.

"Anyways... now that you're awake we can go out and get lunch."

"Oh yeah. I'm hungry! I wonder what the cafeteria is serving today."

"Nah! I was thinking about going to get some real good spicy noodles from the convenience store." Maki bubbles and turns around walking off into the distance. Panda nods.

"Salmon." Inumaki follows behind Maki. You stare at the two of them feeling very confused.

"Come on y/n... let's get something to eat... don't worry about the cost- I can buy your food." Panda says grabbing your hand. He pulls you with him. His hand feels soft and warm. It's a good feeling. Panda slowly looks at you and you look at him. "Hey... y/n... you sure you don't have cursed energy?"

"Yeah... why?"

"Oh... nothing... I was just wondering." He says looking away.

"Ok."
